Migrant Students across countries to be given protective diplomatic status

Recent decades and years witnessed a new sort of migration across countries. The migration of students.
Similarly, we are also seeing various kinds of serious disturbances including racial violence and war situations, in many countries.
Migrant students are especially vulnerable in these situations. The cheerful, vibrant, positive attitude turns overnight to that of fear and scare and threatens life and existence. Man-made disasters and disturbances take entirely different turns and colours nowadays, and no one can predict a safe scene for anyone, especially vulnerable students. Even the diplomatic stay-offs have started impacting the migrant students in the affected countries.

The author has raised a very important and valid point about protecting the educational pursuit of students in foreign lands specially in times of disturbances.
This aspect has to be raised in global meetings and global conferences like G-20 recently held in India and there should be some common agreement on the protection as well as helping the foreign students who are pursuing higher education abroad.
We are seeing terrorist activities and other conflicts and confrontations around the globe and these incidents are increasing day by day. In this situation some diplomatic solution to this problem has to be obtained.

It is really a timely topic raised by the author regarding the safety of the students studying abroad for achieving their desired qualifications in the atmosphere of calmness. However, they ultimately find themselves in the helpless situations because of the unrest of the entire country because of the disturbance created by the terrorists. Their main aim is to terrorize the students of the foreign nationals so that they don't choose this country as one of its destinations for their studies.
There are handful elements operating in such areas but we cannot control them effectively due to our fearfuness apart from considering the diplomatic angles.
Let us hope that this could be resolved with a peaceful dialogue with the different noted leaders so as to have the lasting solution of this crisis.

A good suggestion from the author. Students from other countries studying in a country should be given the required protection and see that they are safe even in emergency situations. If necessary the country should take the responsibility of shifting all foreign students to a safe place when a man-made emergency situation persists. If the country feels that they can't keep them safe, they should be sent in special aircraft to their native countries. Otherwise, there are chances for the students to get into trouble.
The students studying in Ukraine suffered a lot during the war between Russia and that country. Now what is going to happen to the students in Canada because of the damaged relationship between India and Canada? There should be a mechanism in place to address the problems of foreign students as and when required. Embassies in those countries should take the initiative and do the needful.
