What is the difference between education and learning
We usually hear the questions "What is your educational qualification" or "How much you are educated" or 'All in their family are well educated".We are also familiar with answers like " I am PG qualified or B.Sc., B.Com, MBA" etc. or I am educated up to twelfth or tenth etc.
However when the question goes further as 'What are you doing now" we may occasionally get an answer like 'I am learning Music" or " learning Violin, Yoga" etc.
We also people say that " He is a much-learned man' or She is a learned person.
After retirement many senior citizens join courses like Law or pursue other courses through distance education or open schools. In this case, the general word used is 'learning' or pursuing or joining the course, etc.
So the moot question is what is the main difference between education and learning? Are they mutually interchangeable or are they t be used contextually and if so when and where?
