Minor changes to NEET syllabus for 2024

The syllabus for NEET UG 2024 has been announced by National Medical council of India vide its notification No.U-14023I19/2023-UGMEB dated 06.10.2023. The same is available on the official website of NMC.

There are minor changes in the syllabus. These changes are made keeping the changes made in NCERT books keeping the changes made by CBSE in Syllabus to rationalize the syllabus. There are some deletions in the syllabus of Physics and chemistry and some new chapters are also introduced.

Every year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announces the NEET UG syllabus. But this year NMC's Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) published the same.

NEET 2024 aspirants can visit the site and down load the syllabus.

It is necessary that the syllabus of various competitive exams like NEET-UG or JEE or any other exam that a student can think of appearing after one's HSC is to be periodically updated based on the changes in the respective HSC subjects.
This will help the students in having a rational approach to studies and there would not be any confusion in the matter.
Generally, syllabus update is an ongoing process and some new things are added and some old topics are either deleted or shifted to lower classes. A timely information in these respects is essential and the advisory by NEET-UG is a welcome measure.
