I scored 66.7 Percentile at the International Teacher Olympiad

ISC is an educational site so I am sharing my happiness at this site. The International Teachers Olympiad was organized by Suraasa in which teachers from 72 countries participated. I scored 66.7 percentile in this exam.

I know it is not a good score but not a bad one on my first attempt. The Suraasa provide a detailed report by evaluating my answers and also provides a six-month plan to develop my skills of teaching.

I request all the teachers to participate in ITO to develop their teaching skills. ITO is conducted every year.

Congratulations Hakimuddin Kuwakhedawala! I do not think it is a bad score. Above 60% is a good score isn't it? It is commendable that you did attempt it at least. Do the Olympiad organizers give personal feedback to each participant later on how to work towards developing teaching skills?

Thank you, Vandana Madam. Yes, they have provided us a detailed material which contains reading material, master classes, a calendar etc. A master class by professionals will be conducted every month for six months. I have to work for six main domains. One domain every month. Thanks again, madam.

C0ngratulations for your achievement and your attempt shows your interest and desire to improve your teaching skills. Such teachers are very essential for the country and students will get benefitted from such committed teachers. In my opinion scoring 66.7 percentile in the first attempt is really good. It is a good score, I feel.
I hope you will further improve your percentile in your future attempts. All teachers should take you as a role model and try to improve their skills by participating ITOs. I wish you all the best.

Hearty congratulations, Hakumuddin! Even I don't think that your score is low. As Vandana ma'am said, it is more important that you chose to make an attempt. It is proof of your passion, commitment and dedication to your profession. Hope you and in turn your students will benefit from the master classes you will be attending. All the best!

Thanks for sharing and at the same time please accept my hearty congratulations on your performance in this particular examination.
I strongly believe that attempting is much more important than being successful in any endeavour in our lives. Your sustained and continuous efforts are a great motivation for all of us here. We have been seeing you contributing in ISC for quite a long time and your pace of contributions and stability is something we all cherish for.
I wish you more laurels and accolades in your learning journey in coming times.

Hearty congratulations Hakumuddin for your scoring. You have done really a great job by securing 66.7 percentile at the teachers Olympiad. In no way, it can be rated as your low scoring as I feel. However, you can still improve your score with your further attempts if you wish so. However, I must say that such a performance from your end is the reflection of your passion and dedication to your profession.
I wish you all the bests in all your endeavours.

    Hakimuddin Kuwakhedawala,

I have a suggestion for you. You could submit the topic 'Teachers Olympiad - Eligibility, Preparation Tips, Skill Development aspects' in our Knowledge Centre section. Then submit a detailed response to it with the relevant information, mentioning at the outset that you have appeared for it (with a link to this thread) and hence would like to share first-hand experience. You can, if it is not part of any non-disclosure clause, mention generally the type of questions asked and what you are required to do after the result is declared as mentioned by you in response #775645.

Congratulations, Hakimuddin Kuwakhedawala for your achievement. It's not at all a bad score and more interestingly, you got a proper evaluation by which you can plan further. They have already provided a roadmap for further improvement of your teaching skills and by following them the students will benefit a lot. Not everyone can teach. When there are methods to evaluate teaching skills and you participated in one such evaluating program, it shows your passion for teaching.

This passion will help all of your students and I wish you all the best.

Thank you very much all of you.

Thank you very much Vandana Madam for a nice suggestion. It is an excellent suggestion which will help the other teachers to participate and to develop their skills. I will surely submit a topic about ITO in the knowledge centre.

Thank you very much all of you.

I am sure Hakimuddin Sir will score much better than 66.7 percentile in his future attempt in the International Teacher Olympiad. His present score (66.7 percentile) is also fairly good. His present percentile indicates that he is above every 2 students out of the participating 3.
