Name Discrepancy in 12th Educational Documents and What problems I may face in government job

So my name is Rishabh Gupta which is correctly mentioned in all my documents like class 10th, Graduation, PAN Card, Adhaar etc and also my mother's name is mentioned as Shubha Gupta in them but in my 12th certificate my name is mentioned as Gupta Rishabh and mother's name is mentioned as only Shubha. I have applied for various government jobs, would this discrepancy be a problem in document verification?

Neither me or my mother has ever changed name. Our Name in all other documents are Rishabh Gupta and Shubha Gupta respectively. Also board is denying for name change as they are saying this is their format. I have done affidavit and newspaper notification for the same. Do I need gazette notification for such issues where I never changed my name?

I don't think you need to do anything. There is nothing wrong in your name in 12th class certificate also/ Just there is a change in the format only. No objection will be raised as far as my knowledge goes. There is nothing wrong in your mother's name also. Spelling is correct. In some certificates they may not mention family name.
Anyhow you have already taken some action. You made the affidavit and also given advertisement in news papers also. You are just one step away from Gazette publication. In my opinion it is not required to get Gazette publication. Anyhow, I suggest you to contact an advocate in your area and tell him this. He will suggest you correctly.
Generally. the name in your 10th class will be taken as reference for all date of birth check and name check. You will not have any issue in that case/

I can understand your plight but you need not do anything for the variance you are observing in your class 12 th certificate. You have even contacted the Board authorities of the said board attracting their attention towards this anomaly but you were told that they maintain the format of this order.
Thought you have completed all the essential formalities of affidavit and even you have displayed advertisements in the leading papers. Only the gadget publication is pending.
What you need at this juncture is to contact a lawyer of your area for his opinion and the next step needs to be taken according to his guidance.
