    Hats off to these teachers

Today I attended a cultural programme organised in a school by the primary class students. The students of LKG to 5th standard participated. A very well-organised programme. The teachers trained the students very well and made them perform very well. The dialogues are in Sanskrit and small skits based on Ramayan and Mahabharat were presented by these students. Very well executed.

Teaching a grown-up student and training is not very difficult. The student will receive the commands properly and absorb them accordingly. But training these kids in primary school is not an easy task. They will not understand the points well and a teacher shouting at them is also of no use. They should have patience and capability.

It is not easy to be in the midst of so many innocent kids and train them. Hats off to such teachers. I hope other members will also agree with me.

There are some teachers who are extraordinarily brilliant and expert in their work. They are the devoted lot who want to see the overall progress and development of their students. Those students are very lucky who have got such teachers in their educational institutions.
When I was in my class XI then our Mathematics teacher was like that. He was a very good teacher in the sense that the way he taught the lesson or topic most of the students understood it clearly and could remember it for a long time. His teaching speed was not high as he stressed on each step and repeated it frequently. Moreover he was very strict and did not allow any indiscipline in the class. The students also remained very alert and attentive in his class because anytime he could ask a question and if the student could not answer it properly then he used to punish the particular student.
Many students fared well in mathematics that time and I was one of them. I still remember the way he was teaching in the classroom and I was highly impressed by his teaching abilities.
Just to mention that later I came to know that his son qualified in UPSC and got selected in civil services.

    Knowledge is power.

The author has presented the real pain of the teachers and especially for those who are giving lessons to the kids of the lower classes. To make them attentive is really a difficult task and it calls for a lot of effort from the side of a teacher. As indicated by the author, the kids presented the dialogues in Sanskrit because of the constant guidance of the teachers and ultimate result was really praiseworthy.
Supposing that the students of the higher classes were taught by the teachers, this would not have been a difficult task since in that case, less persuasive skills were needed.
We must salute to such devoted teachers dedicated to improvement of the pupils with their honest hearts.

Teachers are critical in our lives. But at the same time, the importance of teachers teaching in our elementary classes is very high. They have to mould the kids properly.
