Want to start contributing on ISC

I have been inactive on the India Study Channel for a considerable period due to certain reasons. However, I am now eager to resume contributing to ISC. I noticed that my credits have been frozen. I kindly request the admin to reactivate them so that I can resume my contributions.

I prefer not to create another account on ISC; rather, I wish to continue using my existing account.

Thank you in advance for addressing this matter.

You need not create a new account and you can continue contributing.
As per the announcement made by the webmaster in the thread mentioned below, if any member has not logged in for more than one year, all his cash credits will be zero.
Important Announcement Regarding Financial Liability - Expiry of Cash Credits
Before you start contributing, I suggest you go through the pinned threads at the top of the index page. That will help you understand the latest changes that took place on this site. Knowledge Centre is a new section and you can contribute to that section also.
I wish you a happy and long journey on this site to you.

Welcome back. As you might be aware that ISC is now focused only in the educational area and the members have to contribute in accordance to that objective.
The new section 'Knowledge Centre' has immense potential for educational information of all kinds and sky is the only limit.
Apart from that, in my experience, there is a lot of scope and work in the information update section specially update in the information regarding schools, colleges, university etc.
Besides that the evergreen section that is forum section is also vibrant with so much activities where a lot of interaction on educational topics and subjects is taking place.
You can choose these sections for your contributions in addition to writing educational articles and other activities which are also going on in this site.

    Knowledge is power.

    Navchetan Kumar,

Welcome back! Regarding the frozen cash credits, you can refer to the thread for which Dr Rao has given the link. As mentioned in the earlier responses, you can just continue with the same account. Focus on the Knowledge Centre, and articles section other than participating in forum discussions. Since many schools and colleges are not in our database, you can submit details about them after first using the search box to check, so that you avoid duplication of content. If you find there is incorrect or incomplete information about already-submitted schools/colleges, you can provide details through the 'update info' box at the bottom of the school/college page.

Best wishes for your renewed journey at ISC and a wonderful year ahead!

    Welcome back, Navchetan Kumar,
You might be noticing some changes in the ISC platform from the earlier ones. Here the emphasis has been made to make the entire platform educational oriented. A new section- Knowledge Centre has been introduced where you can contribute to your ideas relating to the trending topics to benefit the readers.
Article Section is existing in the same way where you can post your articles of your choice in this section. Forum Section is running as usual but posts in this section has diminished due to new settings.
Nothing to be told further, you would be turned to the new alignment.
