Psychology is an interesting subject dealing with the the detailed analysis of the different behaviours of the human beings and other related factors such as determining the IQ of the studies of other elements stimulating them in their activities.
However, no two human being would respond in the similar way though the circumstance is similar. The detailed evaluation of the human brain can be interpreted by a psychologist in the counselling session. That is how this subject is so important for most of us.

Psychology is a good subject for having a good career. There is no doubt about that. But all depends on how good the individual is in the subject.
Psychology is a subject that deals with the study of the human mind and behaviour. Psychologists will be trained to understand mental processes, brain functions, and behaviour. The field of psychology has strong connections to the medical sciences, social sciences, and education.
There are many specialisations in this subject. There are some specialised jobs for the people qualified in this subject. There are many more opportunities for these people abroad than in India I heard.
I read somewhere that the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics expected a growth rate of about 6% between 2022 and 2032 for Psychologists.

Now in many IT companies counsellors are appointed and they choose people with psychology. There is another branch clinical psychology in masters where they are working in hospitals. MD after MBBS is also good scope.

Earlier Psychology was not considered as a good subject from career making or job searching aspect but gradually the role of psychologist in a work place started to get recognition and in many industries and organisations the posts of psychologists were created. Today they are everywhere and helping the organisations in human resource issues. So there is some good scope now in studying Psychology and then carving out a career in that.
Psychology deals with the human emotions and human behavior. A good psychologist can turnaround a hopeless individual through an effective psychological counselling. Use of psychological methods can repair the deep rooted complexes in some human beings who are not able to contribute effectively in a workplace or are not able to work and contribute in a group.

At least in the metropolises of India, Psychology is very attractive for a career. It has become a very sought-after subject. For example, at Delhi University, the cut-off mark for Psychology Hons. Course goes above 96 percentile for General Category, male candidates. I know this because the son of my cousin has taken admission to Psychology Hons.

The picture is the same in all six metropolitan cities of India.

A career in Psychology-related areas is getting more importance simply because society is becoming very complex and societal norms are getting blurred.
