A teacher can make his lecture or teaching interesting in many ways. He should make a lesson plan according to his students. He should use an activity-based teaching plan. The students are often interested in doing activities in the classroom. Peer learning is also a good source to make the learning interesting. The use of technology is a very good option for a teacher to make learning interesting for the students.

A teacher makes his offline lecture or teaching interesting by adopting advanced skills in his teaching.
1. Wherever possible, a teacher should give the most relevant and apt examples so that students will get interested in the subject.
2. A teacher should try to demonstrate some samples and models in the class so that the students will understand the lesson in a better way.
3. Audios and short videos that are available on the internet and which are good for conveying the subject to the students should be played in the classroom so that the lecture will become more interesting.
4. A teacher should make the class room an interactive session. They should encourage students to participate in the discussion and try to make them discuss with each other. A teacher should act as a modulator during such discussions.
5. After completing the lesson, the teacher should try to ask questions and get the answers from the students so that he can assess how much knowledge has been dissipated in the class.

To make the lesson interesting, the teachers should provide the students with numerous examples relevant to the topic being discussed. Needless to say that the teachers must be intelligent enough to resolve the doubts of the pupils. They have the textbooks of the different subjects but very often they are stuck up with some doubts and they try their best to get the solution of their doubts. In absence of getting a clear cut understanding of some of the points, they tend to loose their focus on the subjects not clearly understood.
Hence the task of the teachers is to make the lessons palatable so that the pupils would not have a doubt of the chapters taught by an experienced teacher. One more important thing that the teachers should themselves come prepared to face any question raised by the students.
The teachers should resort to audio visual videos time to time for strengthening their fundamentals if the situation demands.

It is true that online courses or classes are becoming very popular and are now as a matter of routine for many students. Due to the advancement in technology and availability of good course material many online sites are attracting the students and the strength is increasing day by day.
Still the teaching and interaction with a teacher has got its own merits and the physical connection between the teacher and student is a unique experience and student can interact in details and can get their queries resolved.
In today's scenario the teachers also have to improve their teaching skills and make the offline classes more satisfying and fruitful for the students so that students prefer the offline classes.

A teacher who is knowledgeable and is having good presentation skills can evoke good interest in the students for the topic being taught by him in the classroom. The teachers should be able to give practical examples of what they are teaching and should ask the students questions related to it so that it becomes a participative activity. There are some students in every class who are not much interested in the studies and their minds are roaming here and there instead of attending towards what teacher is telling. A successful teacher is one who is able to bring these students to attend to what he is teaching.

I am here to tell about my school days of my third standard, that is in 1963. Our teacher Ms. Kothai Nayagi, was teaching about the insects normally seen around us. One day she came to the class with a bag containing some leaves. She asked the class leader to hand over one leaf each to the students. We with astonishment and eager, saw that leaf. Then the teacher called us to listen the class. She was telling about the leaf insects which are normally similar to the leaf and we with normal eye cannot see the insect but thinking a leaf. When we saw the picture of the insect on the board and leaf in our hand we got astonished and grasped the teaching well. Even today whenever I am seeing the plant of pin-flower, my teacher's teaching came to my mind.
