    Star of the Decade Award Winners

    As you know, in addition to the annual Star of ISC Award, some years ago the admin. launched the Star of the Decade award as well. This is a really special award as it is in appreciation of not only contributions by the member(s), whether large or small, but also to express thanks for their long-term commitment to ISC. After all, it is befitting to reward members who have steadfastly stayed on through all the ups and downs of ISC's growth and continued to be part of her family for over a decade.

    Join me in conveying appreciation and thanks, to-
    1. Ramachandran Pattabiraman
    He has been with us since 2009 and right from the first month of joining he has entertained us with jokes that he has come across and shared with us, keeping us smiling. He also has a knack for bringing up a beautiful analogy, narrating a real-life experience, or sharing an anecdote through forum responses, no matter what the topic of the thread is. The forum has indeed been his base, with some rare contributions to a few other sections. Let's look forward to many more of those narratives and anecdotes even with the new niche not restricting his skills for it!

    2. Saji Ganesh
    He was a natural choice in the nomination process for this special award, with no second thoughts. Completing exactly 12 years this month, we've seen his growth from a forum editor, guiding members, to the role of Lead Editor and he has ably stepped in to edit in other sections as well when required to do so. We've seen him stepping right into the heat of a debate, ready to call a spade a spade! He has been the star of the show as far as topics for active GDs and topic-based contests are concerned. Behind the scenes as well he has been equally rock solid. Efficient, competent, dependable, a team player, and loyal to the core. What more could one ask for?!

    Thank you Ramachandran Pattabiraman and Saji Ganesh for completing a decathlon, so to say, with your unwavering commitment to ISC. We look forward to celebrating another decade of your journey with us!

    Each of the winners will receive a cash prize of Rs. 1500/-.

    Congratulations to Ramachandran Pattabiraman sir and Saji Ganesh sir for winning the Star of the Decade Award. You both deserve the award. It is not an easy task to contribute for more than a decade and you both have contributed to ISC for over a decade. Thanks to ISC and Admin for announcing the Star of the Decade Award.     Heartiest congratulations to Ramchandran Pattabiraman sir and Saji Ganesh sir for being selected as the stars of the Decade Award. Ramchandran Sir has tried his best to keep the members in the refreshing mood with his various jokes and by going through his jokes, the readers momentarily forget their stress and tension. He must be appreciated for his unique talent. Hence it is a right award for him.
    Saji sir is definitely the right choice for his inclusion for the award. Apart from his lead editor role, he has displayed his talent offering his apt comments during the course of GD encouraging the members to see the other possible sides of the discussion so that discussion moves ahead with all the relevant issues needed for the debate. He has the capability of diffusing the tension with his justified remarks in the hours of turbulence developed during the ongoing discussions.

    This is a very motivating and encouraging announcement by ISC. These two contributors are having their presence in ISC for quite some time and they are contributing in a sustained manner which is a praise worthy matter.
    Ramachandran Pattabhiraman is actively participating in forum section, article section, and as well as in various contests. He covers various topics like environment protection, social behaviour and etiquettes, and other important things in that category. I appreciate his sustained contributions and degree of patience which very few people possess. I wish him a long time association in this portal in future also.
    Saji Ganesh is a very analytical person reaching to conclusions with logic and proper analysis. His insight into the contents available in ISC is extraordinary and he can correlate the earlier contents very precisely with the fresh ones submitted by the members avoiding unnecessary repetitions. His contribution as editor in this site is quite significant. He deserves this honour.

    It is nice to see that ISC has announced awards of the decade for its outstanding members. Hearty congratulations to Ramachandran Pattabhiraman and Saji Ganesh both of whom deserve this prize for their long time contributions and standing in this portal.     Excellent selection and my appreciation to the jury members who selected these two names.
    My heartfelt congratulations to both stars of the decade. They deserve and they got it. I expect them to continue their good work and stand as examples to all other members.
    Ramachandran Pattabirama's contributions to the forum section are second to none. His style is unique and praiseworthy. Especially his collection of jokes is a unique style and I enjoy all his contributions to this site.
    Saji is a well-known personality on this site and nobody needs to know about him. No one can match him in contributions to this site that made the site very popular. I expect many more good works from him on this site.

    Oh, that is a welcome news.
    "Star of the Decade Award this time goes to Ramachandran Pattabiraman and Saji Ganesh"

    Ramachandran Pattabhiraman is a unique and veteran member who deserves the award,( though my personal feeling is that it came a bit late). But this award has reinforced and ensured that steadfast loyalty is also recognized and considered important by ISC establishment. His posts had some special feather touch in them which contributed a feel-good factor.

    Saji Ganesh, as we know him through his forum activity, is a natural deserving selection for this award, as he has been staying and giving a spine-like support to ISC. We are quite familiar with his various roles and contributions all these years.

    Both Ramachandran Pattabiraman and Saji Ganesh deserve the award and I convey my Congratulations to them on this achievement.

    Being active all through the ISC over a decade has been a huge accomplishment and the special reward as the Star of the Decade is a noteworthy appreciation by the ISC admin to these two elite members, Mr. Ramachandran Pattabiraman and Mr. Saji Ganesh, who truly deserve the spotlight to be the awardees. It is a milestone indeed to celebrate this achievement. Wishing them all the best to earn more such rewards in the future too.

    I have seen this post very late.

    I congratulate both Ramachandran Sir and Saji Sir for this very prestigious, maybe most prestigious award of ISC. Stars of the Decade!!! OMG

    I am sure both Ramachandran Sir and Saji Sir will continue guiding the members of ISC with their valuable insight for some more decades.

Remaining associated with ISC for more than a decade with regular contributions is indeed something special and both of you did it with aplomb. When you are associated with anything you gain a lot of experience. Some experiences remain good and some may not be so soothing. But continuing with enthusiasm is the key and both of you have displayed it through your contributions. May you all continue your journey on this platform for many many more years and I wish you all the best.
