Unity makes us strong, do you agree?

Unity is strength. This is what we always hear. That is true also. Our country has been under the rule of the British for about 200 years. Indians suffered a lot and they realised that all Indians should fight unitedly for Independence. That unity brought us freedom.

In the same way, if in a family all the members are united, they will have a lot of strength and can face difficult situations and come out successfully. A country will progress if all the citizens are united forgetting differences like their caste, religion etc.

When we are united, we will have a lot of courage and we will face our enemies with confidence. Vibhisana came out of his family and made Ravana weak. But Lakshmana helped Rama unitedly and was successful in the war.

I like to know the views of other members.

We are aware of the magic of unity and the author has rightly hinted how the strength of the Lord Ram multiplied manifold due to the cooperation of his brother Lakshmana.
Hence we need to accept the value of the strength in our lives but unfortunately this trend is gradually diminishing every where because of the ego of the people. They would not like to hear the merit of the unity. Such a trend is due to the superiority complex of some people due to their egoistic attitudes. They would always contradict the views of others- be it a family or the otherwise. This creates a sense of dissatisfaction to the rest of the members of the family or in the organisation such people are found. The net result is the loss of the unity - an essential element of cohesion of unity.
Unity will always reflect the strength of the group and this quality is sure to protect the group from the attack of the external forces.

United we stand, divided we fall. It is true for everyone and in every situation. The communities in the world which have unity among themselves are the real winners in a long run. Unity in a society is required not only to make it powerful but also to protect itself from external threats. It is also true that a good leadership is required to motivate people to remain united and if required fight for the common cause.
    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

Really the author touches a very important point for present scenario.
In my school days there was a lesson on this topic in the form of story.
A father of house had three sons who used to fought themselves often. This makes this person worry about their activity which would affect their future also. In spite of his repeated instructions they did not correct themselves. One day the father called the three to bring a broom. He asked them to break totally into two halves. The three tried but failed. Then the father gave two sticks from the broom to each son and asked to break into two pieces. All the three broke the sticks easily. The father told them, 'see, my sons, this is the life, if you fought or quarrel yourselves others can easily split your relationship but if you keep unity in yourselves no body can broke your relationship similar to the broom what you have tried. So the strength in your life is in the Unity within you'. The sons realized and corrected themselves.

The concept of unity is synonyms with the concept of a group. If the people inside a group are not working towards the common goal and are not united then the group objectives will never be met. Complete cohesion in a group is the prerequisite for group dynamics and group success.
When there is no unity in the group then rival subgroups are created and the main group starts disintegrating. That is a bad situation but it happens in real life many times.
The mantra of becoming a good leader also lies in motivating the group for the common objectives and keep it united all the times. Many leaders across the world became very successful in aligning the people in a particular direction just by creating the element of unity among them.

    Knowledge is power.
