    Determination to reach the goal will bring us success

    Many of us will set goals in our lives. These goals may be in connection with education, earnings or any other matter. But just setting a goal will not make us reach the goal. One should make an action plan and follow the same. One should put 100% effort into reaching the goals. Changing the goals often and trying to give some excuses for not reaching the goals will never bring success.

    Trying half-heartedly to attain success will never ensure our success. One should have a strong determination to reach the goal. That determination only will ensure success. A person with strong determination only will stretch the maximum to reach the goal.

    Determination means strong will to do hard work and achieve the goals. That is the sure shot way to success. But very few people have such a degree of determination. The fact is that determination of that kind is not easy to achieve. That requires strong will power and discipline. Determination means to reduce unnecessary indulgences in other things and concentrate in the main task.
    In the epic Mahabharata when Arjun was asked what he was seeing as the target for his arrow then Arjun replied that he was seeing the eye of the bird only as the target. He was focussed and concentrated and we can say that he was determined to hit the target.

    I agree that determination is essential for success and making a career in any line but before that one should have clarity about the objects. A person might be laborious and hard working but until he knows his target and can pinpoint the goals, hard work would not be useful.
    One has to be futuristic and should have a foresight on the options available in hand and then decide a direction of growth. Thereafter the determination plays the crucial role of focussing one's strengths and efforts in that particular line. We are today operating in a competitive world where new technologies are changing the whole scenario and many old professions and jobs are becoming a thing of past. It is imperative that one has to be prepared to face those challenges and acquire new learnings to compete in the new environment.
    Knowledge is power.

    Attaining success in the desired goal is achievable with the firm determination and it is not that we are liking something currently and within hours, the same is changed thinking that the present choice it would prove to be more attractive in terms of the success.
    Before deciding a goal, a lot of parameters are to be judged including the areas of their goals. The aspirants need to visualise the future in case of the ultimate solution of the course.Sometimes, the selected course appear to be attractive but after sometime its popularity gets lost. Hence prior to selection of a course, the pros and cons need to be examined closely.
    The next crucial part is to exert effort in the determined area. Day dreaming can upset the whole plan. We can see that the popular courses are loosing their value in the times and the selection should be with a great precaution.

    I will like to add that in case of the students their parents have a great role in motivating and encouraging the children for having determination and focus in their studies and always yearn for making a career out of it. It is the duty of the parents to provide the conducive atmosphere to the children for achieving that.
    It is obvious that parents should present a model of discipline and hard work so that children will also learn the same thing from them and use it in their lives for making a successful career path.
