Unbiased comments are always helpful for improvement

Day in and Day out we will be doing many deeds. Some mistakes might have been made in performing these deeds. When we are executing and delivering we may not notice that mistake. That is why we offer our works for review and solicit opinions from the third party.

If the reviewer is giving unbiased comments they will be helpful for us to improve our performance. When a mistake happens, it is not required to know who committed that mistake immediately. We should understand how it happened and how to correct it. After that only we can think of the person who committed that mistake.

That is why when a scientific paper is sent to a reviewer, the publisher will not inform the reviewer about the author of the paper. Only after receiving the comments from the reviewer are received the names of the authors will be informed.

Unbiased critical comments are something that are most beneficial for the creator of that document or write up or activity that one has performed. That is the reason that in case of a thesis or some serious work the reviewers are not told the identity of the author.
Taking an unbiased comment as an offence is the weakness of the author as he or she is not able to tolerate the constructive comments which are being made only for improvement in one's work.
In any society whenever someone does some work then there is criticism and this is a very common thing. It is human nature to do so. The person should take it in a positive way and face it sportingly. Every comment may not be a positive and constructive one and the person should ignore them and take only to his side those which are really helping him to improve in the matter. Taking healthy comments seriously and using them for corrections is a step to success in one's life.

Knowledge is power.

It is human psychology to be happy with good comments and to feel offended or not happy with critical comments. But we should understand that comments made to praise or make happy a person have no constructive value. These comments are false. They are in the nature of flattery.
Unbiased comments are the comments which have the power to convey to the person the real worth of one's work or performance and that is the only thing which can help a person in improving and achieving perfection. So we should not take these valuable comments in any other way.

Though unbiased comments are the tools to improve upon the personality of a man concerned, we need to think of the side effects associated with such a stand. We are being taught always by our parents and teachers to behave decently so that the listener does not lose his temper with the unbiased comments hurled at him.

The same is the demand of a civilised society. Keeping in view the maintenance of the best standards of the community, we follow etiquette and manners to soothe the other party involved in the party.

However, unbiased comments are not bad if we are determined to change the overall performance of a candidate, unbiased comments would help him to think about his shortcomings and this will enable him to get rid of his weaknesses. In that way, it could prove to be a boon for changing the disposition of the other party.
