Educational abbreviations forum contest - winners!

In the first week of this month I posted a contest - Educational abbreviations - a forum fun contest for sharing our knowledge about the educational abbreviations related to educational institutes, entrance exams, educational bodies and authorities, common educational terms, etc. These abbreviations were to be presented as links to related content in ISC.

I was happy to find that there was good content available in ISC related to each and every of these abbreviations and that clearly shows that ISC has a rich educational resource database.

A few members participated in this contest and contributed and shared a good number of such abbreviations. The biggest contribution was made by Dr N.V.Srinivas Rao followed by Neeru Bhatt. They have clearly emerged as the winners of this contest and will be awarded virtual awards from ISC virtual award gallery. Well done Dr Rao and Neeru Bhatt.

Come on members, let us congratulate them for their top contributions in this contest.

I congratulate both - Dr. N.V., Srinivas Rao and Neeru Bhatt for their admiring contributions leading them to win virtual awards from ISC gallery. Both of them have shown their artistic capacities in the contests. Hope, they will show their talents in the upcoming events organised by ISC and win many more prizes. This is a fun game but very useful to students to know about various institutes and laboratories in our country. I appreciate Saji Ganesh for his timely suggestion which made the contest interesting. He cleverly utilised the occasion to get more and more links so that the chances of members going to those pages would increase. He made this contest interesting. Congratulations to Neeru Bhatt for winning the contest along with me.
Thanks, Umesh for the concept and he might have won the competition. I hope he will come up with some more novel ideas and try to see that more and more members will participate.
Some other participants also contributed nicely and all of them also deserve appreciation for their participation. Hope members will come up with this kind of concept more and make the forum section active so that ISC will become very busy like in earlier days. My sincere thanks to the members for their best wishes.

I thank for my award and congratulate Dr Rao for his outstanding performance and I also found this contest an interesting one. When I was looking for the links in ISC pages for linking the abbreviations, I easily got the related resources, courses, institutes, etc and had no problem in linking them.
I also learned many new abbreviations through this exercise which will be helpful to us in information update and other such contributions that we would be making in ISC in future.

Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.
