Doesn't India need its own global ratings system?

Famous sociologist and political analyst Salvatore Babones discussed the issue threadbare in his research and in his analytical essays. The same tradition still continues. The anti-India trend is continuing unabated.

Democracy Index: India ranks at 104. India is below Niger (which is ruled by a military junta and the President has been under house arrest since July 2023) and below Kuwait (where the Parliament has been dissolved last month because some lawmakers insulted the Emir).

Press Freedom Index: India ranks at 161. Taliban's Afghanistan is at 152. Pakistan too ranks above India, as do the UAE, Brunei, Somalia and Uganda in this latest (ridiculous) ranking.

Happiness Index: India ranks at 126 wherePakistan is at 108 (which is completely broke, overrun by the terrorists). India is also below Myanmar (enduring coup and civil war), and war-hit Ukraine and Palestine!

It's high time to have our own honest and realistic rating system. Let the anti-national liberals remain happy with this present ridiculous rating system.

A rating system should be based on realistic and proper parameters. There should not be a biasing in that. A biased rating will make the image of the country bad in the eyes of foreigners.
Today some of the media houses are doing biased reporting due to political considerations. Some rating agencies make their conclusions based on these media channels. That is of course not in a good taste.
The suggestion that we should have our own rating agencies is alright but again it should have no political affiliation as that would not help in providing honest ratings.

The rating system should not be in a way to please the political bosses of a country but must be based on a realistic pattern. The inflated report might please certain quarters but the fact is that such reporting would not stand as a true testimony ultimately.
We need not rely on the reporting of the media channels always since there might be a wide deviation in their reporting. Strangely, in terms of index of the different parameters such as happiness index, poverty index and so on, no two reports of the media are identical. We need to take care of our reports so that it does not attract the attention of foreigners in an inflated figure.

The purpose of rating is defeated if the rating agency is biased. Generally we expect reputed agencies to give correct and realistic ratings. If they do not do their job properly then we should also not blindly believe in their ratings and condemn and discard their results.
It seems that some rating agencies are favouring some countries to get some favours from them otherwise why they would rate them high as against the actual low ratings.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

As I have already said, it's time to take on George Soros-funded anti-India, biased international rating agencies and the liberal followers & supporters of these rating agencies.

I agree with the author. Biased rating systems will never give the correct picture. Some may think that we are saying this as our country is not given a good ranking. But the fact is that ranking should be unbiased. What are the parameters they considered for coming out with ranking? How do they collect the information and how do they come out with rankings? All these should be also informed to the public while giving their rankings. I don't know whether these ranking agencies do that or not. These days we see many surveys conducted by various newsagencies in India. The outcome will be favourable to the party which sponsored that agency or channel. Only a few agencies could come out with expectations near to actual happenings.
It would be good if we also have a system of making our surveys and ranking our country with facts and figures. Truth has to come out. Not managed figures and unreliable rankings. I think we all should ignore such ratings which are not reflecting the actual facts.
