The future of education with microlearning and blended Learning.

Microlearning and blended learning are changing how we learn by making things easier to understand. Instead of long lessons, we get small, easy-to-manage chunks of information with microlearning. Blended learning mixes online lessons with face-to-face teaching, giving us more flexibility in how we learn. These methods make learning more personal because we can choose what works best for us. In the future, classrooms might become more flexible, letting students learn in ways that suit them. Teachers will help guide this process, making sure everyone gets the support they need to succeed. These changes could make education more inclusive and accessible for everyone. What do you think about how these new ways of learning will shape the future?

Microlearning is an approach that delivers short bites of learning. Each learning will focus on a single objective to learn. Many short videos that we are watching these days are a part of micro learning only. Microlearning always focuses on single-objecting learning. It is more precise to say one learning at a time. This helps the student to concentrate on the subject he is learning then without deviating from the objective. Even this microlearning can be considered a self-learning tool. This microlearning concept redefines the role of a teacher. Instead of teaching, he will be guiding the student in understanding the subject and making it more interesting to the student. This teaching need not be delivered in a classroom and can be delivered in different formats including short videos making it student-friendly and flexible learning.

In the conventional educational system the course of a subject is divided in parts which are again subdivided in chapters containing topics. From that point of view each topic becomes a module or micro lesson. At that time the teacher in the classroom tried to cover more topics in the same time in a hurry to complete the syllabus for the year.
Now in the present approach one module or micro lesson is to be taken up at one time and definitely the student will be able to grasp it much more easier than grasping many topics at the same time.
Where there is no compulsion of syllabus such approach can be adopted and it is going to be a common feature in future.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

Yes, the general teaching adopted in the classroom session is intended for all people and the teachers are supposed to uplift the standards of pupils to their best. The pupils need to be attentive to benefit from such a teaching. Since the teacher would provide the details of a lesson being discussed in a classroom, a full concentration of the pupils us required.
However, microlearning is a different process taking care of an individual to raise the efficiency of a practitioner, it could benefit the listener hugely when the platform has been designed to resolve suspicion or mistrust. The ratio between the teacher and pupil is unity, the pupil is to enjoy the greatest benefits of such a coaching.

In my opinion the concept of microlearning is quite applicable in short courses or specific topic learnings. As far as traditional school and college learning is considered, it will remain syllabus driven even in the coming times.
Microlearning might be a useful mode for the professionals engaged in activities in the industries and want to increase their knowledge and skills through these focused courses.
Online learning and coaching centres are aggressively offering many concise and micro courses as per the need of the person and many students are going through them before applying for a job in a niche area.

    Knowledge is power.
