The overall development should be highly inclusive

Massive infrastructure developments are going on in the Hindi belt. New airports, the new Railway Stations with modern facilities, and the Vande Bharat trains.

So far, so good. But what has happened to public health and education? While UP has made some progress, absence of quality English teachers does seem to be a major problem everywhere in India. Aversion to English, the global language of opportunity, is outright stupid, but it happens in the Hindi belt.

Furthermore, development should not be one that caters only to the rich. The poor also need quality schools that should be run by the Government, there should be good roads and buses and fairly good Government hospitals. The entire South India scores very high here.

We have had lopsided Government approaches that have favored only the rich. For example, at least three hundred thousand crore rupees has been what has been written off, for some of the biggest companies. This is not justice, but total injustice.

The rich have to pay and do not deserve any mercy if the companies are not managed well. The overall GDP growth should cater to all masses and not just the rich.

It is high time that we started debates on our economic models.

As per my knowledge infrastructural developments and projects are going everywhere in our country. There is a good activity in many areas helping the common people in many aspects.
Central Govt is very aggressive on developmental works. States are also doing their part but from state to state these things differ because of local variants and reasons. If we observe there is a growth momentum everywhere in our country.

Everything cannot be managed through Govt departments. Business and industrial growth flourishes under the private sector. They also create a large employment for people.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

It is correct to say that development is a necessity for any country. We are seeing a good progress in our country. We never imagined that we could go to even small cities and big towns on flights. But today it is a reality. We are seeing a good improvement in NH roads. We can complete a journey of about 80 km or so in an hour.
As mentioned by the author the schemes should aim to rich as well as poor. But no government can make everybody take the initiative and use the initiatives that are being offered by the government. No government can spoon-feed the poor. They should come forward. The officials should see that the initiative will get the required advertisement and all poor will also know about these schemes.
There are many private players also coming and establishing their organisations here and that will create employment potential in the country.

The present Govt is aggressively moving ahead with a good number of developmental projects and we are seeing good infrastructural progress all around. There are many schemes for the poor and lower class and they are getting benefitted by that.
Our country is very big and divided into so many states where state Govts have their own priorities and schemes for the poor. So we cannot expect a uniformity of development everywhere. But no one can deny that today India is developing with a good pace. It is being recognised internationally also.
New Education Policy is now under implementation and its effect would be seen soon and we can expect many good changes in this area.

    Knowledge is power.
