What is your choice of the system to run a country effectively?

A country needs a system to run it and there are various models under which it can be managed. The earlier system of king and his people is still present in some countries, in some communism is there, some are running under a democratic system, some are secular while some are not, and in some capitalism is more pronounced.
Every system has its pros and cons but some systems might be better for the poor and financially low class people. What is your opinion and for which system would you go? What are the reasons of that choice? Please share your ideas.

As mentioned by the author there are many models of the governments. I feel the success of a nation depends on the mentality of the people and also on the mentality of the rulers. We can't declare one system as the best and the other as bad. If the rulers are selfless and want the nation to progress, any type of government is OK. India is a democratic country and we have seen different governments and we all know how each government works. Many PMs we have seen in the same form of government and we have seen the difference between them.
At the same time, people also should respect the law of the land. They should behave as per the law and within the framework decided by the government. If that is happening means democracy is good. But if people are selfish and they try to take advantage of the system. rulers should be able to control them. That is an ideal situation. In such a situation, democracy will be the most suited.

A country can be run effectively if the existing government follows the rules as indicated in the constitution. It means that the government must be honest enough to follow the Constitution rigidly. This is the single most common criteria from the government's side.
Apart from that the citizens must respect the law and they should be sensible citizens giving the highest priority to follow the rules. They should not be taught the law issues by someone else. If the citizens follow the transparent system of adherence to the rules. It would be beneficial for both the nation and the general public.

I fully support the representative democracy functional in India.
Of course it needs some small corrections here and there-especially in the case of the candidates and elected representatives- mainly in areas of false and impractical promises, to have systems in place to review their performances vis-a-vis their electoral promises, the right to recall them in case they are not performing, in case they engage in matters not given in public in their manifestoes, engage in any anti-national activities, encouraging hate and division among people, go against constitution and democratic principles etc.

Otherwise, Indian democracy has stood the test of times, improved much and showed its efficiency and functional stability.

There are different systems of governing a country. It is a matter of great discussion as which system is better or not so good.
Some advocate for democracy while some go for communism. Some strictly believe that only capitalism can help in growth while there are many who preach for dictatorship.
Every system will have its distinct advantages and drawbacks. Given freedom, most of the people will yearn for democracy where equal rights are provided to every citizen.
But in democracy also the crucial point is how it is run. If the leaders are honest and the machinery below is corruption free then only the democracy can result in progress and prosperity.

    Knowledge is power.

Let me share my choice also in the matter. I am also for a democratic set up but the governance should be strict and corruption free. If it is not so then there is no use of the so much freedom of expression, religion, and actions given to the people.
    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.
