Most of the time I get a new information!

Due to digital and online working of various offices and companies, many changes are seen in the working of organisations like banks, post office, railways, state govt departments, private companies, and many others. Old processes are being replaced with new, modern, and quick ones to help the customer.
Many things we are coming to learn during our work at different places. Recently, I went to my branch of a bank near my house to deposit some amount by cheque in my PPF account. I was told that the electronic online clearing machine was not working and was advised to go to any other branch of same bank in the town and deposit it there. It was a new information to me and when I visited the other branch in the town, they accepted it.
There are many instances when I went for something and came to know some new information.
I think that it is happening because government is bringing things online and making it convenient for the customer.
What are your experiences in this regard?

This world is changing. We have seen many changes. We have travelled from the no phone period to the mobile phone period through the landline phone period. These days technological changes are happening rapidly and we are witnessing many developments in our lifestyle. So when we are trying to do something in the old fashion, we are coming to know about the new developments.
Initially, I was hesitant to use online for money transactions and I was dealing with cash only. But over some time I got accustomed to online transfers. Now my wife also started doing online transfers without any hesitation. Like this, we are seeing many changes in our lifestyles. We never know about online ordering and getting material home within a few minutes. In Hyderabad, we will get milk within 30 minutes of our order.

Many organisations have changed their working from manual to online and incorporated many digital processes in their workflow. Many others are in the process of doing it and transforming the old processes.
Banks have done much progress in this. Post Office is also following albeit in a slow pace. Govt offices have also done good progress and today we can pay our taxes and other bills just sitting in our house. Private players are using the new technology aggressively and some of them have very effective online applications for the customers.
Still, there are many small matters that are yet to be sorted and that would take some time.
For example in most of the places the photo of our Aadhar card in the mobile is accepted but some places they are insisting for original. This we come to know only when we face such a situation. Certainly that becomes a new piece of information and we share with our friends or relatives so that they get prepared for that beforehand.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.
