Whose voice is that?!
When we get up first thing in the morning and say something, sometimes have you noticed this- your voice sounds strange not just to others, but even to yourself! It sort of comes out sounding like gravel and a bit hoarse and perhaps you need to clear your throat a few times, too, when it is squeaky. The pitch, the tone, and the volume are all distinctively different from your normal speaking voice.Basically, your voice is still in sleep mode and only after you have brushed your teeth, and rinsed your mouth that the 'awake' voice takes over. Of course, when you are having a cold and/or cough, then the voice does get affected, and when the cough is bad, you may find that your voice is really terrible and if you call others, nobody recognizes it is you on the phone!
How many of you have experienced that rusty voice in the morning?
