Do you play computer games in your spare time?

Many people play computer games in their spare time. It is an exciting pastime. Some games are based on fights or fantasy but there are some good games also having educational values. Children are generally attracted to fantasy games and then they become addictive to that. I think parents should guide the children for some good games where learnings are associated. It is said that there are some computer games which help a person to develop mental faculties for better analysis.
Do you play computer games in your spare time? What type of games do you like? Can you share your experiences in this regard?

I spend some time on my mobile phone playing some games. I use my laptop also sometimes for the same purpose.
I play Sudoku regularly in the mornings. There are two Apps on my mobile for Sudoku and I use both of them daily. Another game I play is Solitaire on my laptop or mobile phone. There are 3 apps for this game. I pay for all three Apps. These are the main games I play on my laptop or mobile phone. I purchased a book containing all varieties of Sudoku games and I completed all these games given in the book.

Yes playing computer games is one of my favorite pastimes in my spare time. I enjoy playing various categories of video games such as action, adventure, puzzle, and racing etc. Generally I select a game and play it until I complete the entire game, which might take a few days to weeks. After finishing the game, I move on to the next one after a long break.

I am not an enthusiast of computer games as it involves a lot of spare time and then we feel that time is flying fast. Anyway, I have occasionally played a few games like Mahjong tile removing game and some word forming games.
I liked mainly the word games where we can make a variety of words with the given letters and then earn points for that. There are different levels in the game and I found that quite interesting.
My frequency of playing computer games is low as I play hardly 1-2 times a week.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

Let me also share about my interests in computer games. I first got introduced with computers sometime in the year 1985. At that time the only game available in the computer was solitaire. It was an exciting thing for us. Gradually I got introduced to some more games but they were very primitive in their nature. The real break came in the year 1995 when I got a good opportunity to work on a full fledged computer system. There were many games available and we came to know that we could download more games of different kind.
During that time I learned how to play these games but the action, arcade, and fantasy games did not attract me much while games having elements of puzzles, riddles, and English language learning and vocabulary improving fascinated me much.
Whenever I had time I played those games. Later, I did not get much time and was not able to devote more time for games.
After my retirement from active service I could get some time for playing games and now sometimes I play some old games as well as new ones but most of them are under learning genre.

    Knowledge is power.
