Which phone should I buy- M14 or M15

I intent to buy a new mobile phone. I want it to be a 5G enabled. I have shortlisted two Samsung products- Samsung Galaxy M14 5G and M15 5G. The former was launched one year ago. It is available in a ;lower price. The latter is launched very recently. But when I compared the specification, I found there are some points better in the former and some in the latter.

Members who are using any of these and those who are technically able to evaluate and help may give their frank opinion to enable me to choose the one more suitable and long usable to me.

I use mobile phones mainly for voice calls, messages, photos, WhatsApp, some net surfing, YouTube mainly for videos in WhatsApp and News app Dailyhunt. I do not play games at all.
Please give your views.

If we compare the technical specifications between these two models then we do not find anything specific in M15 except that it is a new model and is powered by the new Android OS version14 in place of version13 in M14 . For the usages mentioned by the author M14 would suffice.
While going through the specs we find that as far as the crucial elements like RAM, Camera, Internal Storage, Connectivity, SD slot, Battery, etc are considered there is no difference.
In fact, on some parameters like display resolution, clock speed, and weight, M14 seems better.
Only extra thing that M15 is offering is 4 Gen OS Upgrades, and 5 Years of Security Updates.
Seeing the price difference of about Rs 2000 between these two models and the usage mentioned I would recommend M14.

The price difference is around Rs. 2000/-. M14 is cheaper.
When we compare technical specifications there are no significant differences between the two. Some of the features in M14 are superior and the user rating is better in the case of M14. It is 4.1 out of 5 against 3.85 out of 5 for M15.
As a user when I look at these two phones, I am more pleased with the M14 than the M15 even in appearance. Even though M15 was launched one year after launching M14, I do not find any special attraction or advantage.
Considering our use, I believe that M14 may be a better option. If I were you, I would go for M14.

My observation in this regard is that there are many mobile companies which are bringing new models with slight changes but higher price tag. There are many people who are selling or discarding their old phones and blindly going for new models without doing any comparative studies.
This is the trend in the society and those who are able to afford are changing their phones after 1-2 years.
In this particular case as some members have done comparative study and found that M14 is a better choice, it makes sense in buying it and saving an amount of Rs 2000.

Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

Thanks dear members for your suggestion. I have gone by your overall suggestions and bought the previous modelM14. Unfortunately I could not get the bank offer discount as it expired by the time I bought. So I had to pay about 1500 rupees more than expected. But it is okay. Sometimes such notional losses happen.

I have mentioned this in my new thread and asked for clarification of fresh doubts. Hope you all can give me suitable solution to my issues mentioned there.
