Which team is going to win the IPL 2024?

The IPL 2024 tournament has reached its final stage. KKR, SRH, RCB and RR teams are qualified for playoff matches. In Yesterday's match, KKR came out the winner and reached the finals. Today's Eliminator match between RR and RCB will decide the team that is going to play the Eliminator 2 match against SRH.
Friday's match will decide who is going to face KKR in the finals. As of now, there are chances for all the teams to win the tournament but everybody will have their guesses about the winning team. I guess RCB will win the cup. The team is in full form and they are continuing their winning stream. Now I request all the members to mention which team is going to win the cup.

It is difficult to guess as which would be the winner in the final match but seeing the track record of the top 3 teams that is KKR, RR, and SRH, my guess is that KKR might emerge as the winner.
The result of eliminator matches between RR and RCB and then their winner with SRH will be an interesting thing to observe and we would be in a position to guess better in this matter.

Yesterday (22.05.2024), RR won over RCB and now in an advantageous position. Next match will be held between RR and SRH and is scheduled for 24th May 2024.
Whoever wins will play final with KKR.
Now as per my observation, I guess that SRH or KKR seems to be the winner of this tournament and most probable is KKR.
Let us see what happens in tomorrow's (24.05.2024) match.

My guess went wrong. I thought RCB would be the winning team. But yesterday it was eliminated from the tournament by RR. Now in the present circumstances chances are more for KKR, I think.

Please excuse me for going off tangent but I think it would have been better if the author had posted his views and suggestions as a response to this active thread based on the ongoing IPL. We should avoid multiple threads on the same topic.

Saji, thanks for the alert and appreciate your observation. I wanted to post the same thing here that you have mentioned but as that thread was originated by me I preferred to keep silence.
Anyway, as responses to this thread have already poured in, I suggest that all of us can now post our comments in this one itself and as the old one becomes redundant that can be locked, if you think it ok, to avoid redundancy.

Though chances for KKR seem more but in the game of cricket many surprises are there in every match and we cannot be certain about the final winner.

Today is a big day for SRH and RR. Today's match will decide the team that is going to face KKR in the final. As a person from Hyderabad, I feel SRH should win. But my sixth sense says RR will win. Let us see the outcome.

Today's match between SRH and RR is under progress and SRH has scored 175/9 in 20 overs.
Now RR will bat and let us see how they beat this score in order to win the match.
Difficult to guess at this stage but seeing the high side score I feel SRH is having advantage.
Anyway, result will be there in few hours from now.

Yesterday's match between SRH and RR was very exciting. After SRH made a total of 175 runs and RR started to bat then in the beginning RR was chasing the score well but could not reach the target of 175 and could make only 139 runs falling short by 37 to win.
Good score coupled with good bowling by SRH made this victory possible.
Shahbaz Ahmed was declared the Player of the Match for his excellent spell with the ball.

So, now KKR and SRH will be fighting on 26th May 2024 for becoming the winner of IPL 2024. Stay tuned.

SRH team was in 10th position in IPL 2023. A very Disastrous performance. We have seen 360 degrees turn around. This tournament they will be in first or second position. I think their strategy of going for hitting paid off. Let us see how they are going to fare in the finals against KKR.

IPL 2024 final match is in progress in Chennai between KKR and SRH and SRH had scored 113/10 in 20 overs and now KKR is playing and have so far scored 33/1 in 2.3 overs and hence need 81 runs in 105 balls to win. Not a difficult target.
The probability of KKR winning is very high now but in cricket sometimes some miracles also happen and let us wait for the results.

Yesterday's final between KKR and SRH did not evoke much excitement as KKR won the match with ease.
SRH lost but we must appreciate their phenomenal performance in this season and eventually they reached final. So congrats to KKR for winning the finals and also to SRH for their overall performance.

Considering their phenomenal batting performance throughout the season, it was indeed disheartening to watch the disastrous performance by the SRH batting line up. The score on the board was peanuts for the Kolkata team to raise the Cup without any effort.

Hearty congratulations to the Kolkata Knight Riders for winning the IPL 2024! Well played. A word of appreciation also goes to the SRH team for becoming the runner-up. As is said, each match is a different game and yesterday was KKR's day.

I am very unhappy to watch the disastrous performance of SRH batsmen. Abhishek Sarma was out for the last ball of the first over. That made all the difference. Even after his dismissal SRH batsmen never changed their offensive batting and in that process, they lost all important wickets. One time I thought they might not even score 100 runs. But somehow they crossed that 100 mark. The bowling of SRH was also not impressive. Congratulations to KKR for their excellent performance during the entire tournament. Their mentor Gautam Gambhir may become the Head coach of the Indian team. I read in a newspaper.
