Somebody's loss is somebody's gain in simple economics

Come of think of this. In the very posh locality of Velacheri, in South Chennai, near a fairly large gated community of over 300 apartments, is a highly trusted branded supermarket. This opens only at 10AM. Cashing in on this situation nearby Kirana store makes merry. Eggs get sold in dozens. The cost of vegetables has gone through the roof now. In the branded su0ermarkets, one cannot buy just two ripe bananas. Even this weighed but the shopkeeper gives it. Another ten customers turn up and each of them buys for a minimum Rs200/-

Simple. Even the branded FMCG products like soaps get sold. I was able to get my requirements too. Guys like this keep on multiplying in the dozens. He is simply cashing in on some unmet need in a location
