Kindly clarify this doubt about Invoice.

    I seek attention of Editors/WMs.

No payment was announced for me this month. Usually when payments are announced only, the Invoice number is shown in the Gifts and awards page.

But today when I was glancing my profile pages in my 'Gifts and awards ' page I saw an Invoice number shown against a TOW special prize awarded on date 03 June 2024.
The amount detail shown in the invoice does not amount for payment of threshold limit.

Kindly clarify abut this. Does a new system been brought in, and I have missed the info? Please verify and clarify.

    Venkiteswaran,

There is no new system. That was an error on our part and we are trying to rectify it if possible. No invoice number should show against any contest prizes or awards. An invoice number is indicated only for cash payment when announced by the Webmasters. Please ignore it. Apologies for the mistake.

    Vandana,
I do have the same doubt that an invoice is shown against the award of the thread of the fortnight contest received, and I uploaded the invoice without noticing the threshold limit of cash payment. I have a query about whether I would receive the payment with this invoice generated. Let me get this clarified, please.

Bhavani, upload the invoice with what has been mentioned in your payment status. It was my mistake that I credited payment which I should not have done. Do make it a point to send a reminder to Timmy sir after the necessary corrections.

Thanks, Vandana and Saji Ganesh for the clarification. No need to apologize. Errors happen and it is sufficient if it is rectified when you get the first info or feedback about that, and take suitable measures to prevent further happening.
