A ruling party, whichever it is, should not underestimate the opposition
In a democratic system the public decides as who would rule the country. Accordingly different parties present their agenda to the public and elections are held. Depending upon the results a party or a coalition of parties form the Govt and rule the country.Opposition will monitor the governance and administration of the ruling party and make hue and cry if there is something wrong in it. If opposition is successful in pointing out the shortcomings of the regime and promises for a better governance then the same public which elected the earlier regime can change and replace it in the next elections.
So the point is that ruling party whichever it is should not underestimate the opposition. Do you agree?
