The opposition needs to given due respect

That Rahul Gandhi was not a pappu anymore was amply proved in the results. He now speaks confidently and with a good reassured voice that means good to all. Yet, his mike was put off.

This absolutely deplorable act of the ruling dispensation has been rightly opposed by all sane people. The ruling party does not have an absolute majority and already behaves as if it is back to its old dictator days,

The people are watching. You ca fool some people for sometime, but you cannot fool all people for all the time. One temple built at a huge cost and said to be the ultimate in Hindu pride, is already leaking

The Government should tolerate dissent and allow the opposition to put its views forward.

I think the present Govt is giving much respect to the opposition and hearing them patiently. I have not seen any Govt earlier in this country which had patiently heard the opposition so much and tolerated everything.
Speaker has to manage the proceedings in the parliament and he would not allow any nuisance by anyone. If he had done something it has to be understood in clear terms and not with a biased mind.
Opposition should not waste their time in non-issues and put up concrete points in the parliament and debate on them. Opposing everything for the sake of opposing makes the opposition a laughing stock. What we require today is a constructive opposition.

    Knowledge is power.

India has seen prime ministers who had scant respect towards the opposition leaders and also seen prime ministers who sent opposition leaders as our representatives to summits and conferences. I agree that opposition should be respected. I say that the opposition should gain respect. This will come with their actions and words.
As far as my knowledge goes, opposition in the present Loksbha is getting its due respect. A strong opposition is always required for a better functioning of the government. If the opposition works for the benefit of the nation and people that will be recognised by the public . Instead, if they start opposing every issue people may not have sympathy towards opposition parties. Opposition should be a police man and should check the negative aspects of the government but should support when positive things are happening.
Giving and taking respect is a two-way process. It will never be a one side policy.

I think it is not a wise thing to call someone pappu or gappu or anything that isn't his/her name. These all names are created by social media trolls and it has nothing to do with the real world. Opposition needs to take up issues in the parliament, which concerns the well being of the country's citizen. If speaker is not allowing the member to say anything and mutes his voice, then there must be a reason for it. Members of the parliament needs to rake up important points rather than just creating ruckus in the parliament and affecting the development of the country.
    Thanks and regards.
