Q&A Interview Contest - Questions posed by you, answered by you!

We have in the past organized a unique contest based on the Question-and-Answer format of an interview, wherein you put a set of questions and then answered them, too. In those contests, you would be given specific people to interview, such as photographers, teachers, folk singers, etc and the situation in which they are in, such as retired, winning a prize, etc. Here comes the Q&A contest once again, but this time we will focus only on a group of people with no situations given.

Whom you will interview: A sportsperson's support staff. It can be any sport, outdoors or indoors, adventure sports included.

What you have to do: Think of any support staff who works behind the scenes for a sportsperson, perhaps a coach, a trainer, a security guard, or anyone else. Imagine that you are interviewing one of them, and come up with three questions to ask. Simultaneously, you don the interviewee's cap and answer those three questions, thinking about how you would answer them. You can put whatever name you wish for the interviewee. Keep in mind that it should be a fictitious interview with a fictitious person and not of an actual person, past or present.

Some tips: Think of unique questions and how it is answered. The title should stand out as well. In case we get entries that are of the same interviewee and have the same/similar questions, when considering the winners and finding two or more worthy, we will give preference to the one who thought of the individual (support staff) and question first. Members are welcome to put in responses to a participant's entry thread but avoid merely repeating aspects of the interview. Instead, put in responses that would initiate a discussion, as we may reward such responses with enhanced points (no cc).

How to participate: Submit the entry as a forum thread in Discussion Forums>>About IndiaStudyChannel>>Competition Entries. Put an appropriate title, with the word 'interview' in it. Please put a link to this thread at the end of the interview. Then submit the URL of the thread with a link to it, in a response to this thread to be eligible for the prizes.

    Rules:
    1. The interview should be of only any one support staff. Do not post interviews of sportspersons.
    2. A member can submit only one entry. Do not mention weapons, specific medications (if necessary, you can mention words like protein, and supplements, but not their specific brands or names and no drugs to be mentioned), and the like, and adhere to forum posting guidelines.
    2. The interview with both questions and answers should be in English. The title should have the word 'interview'. You can edit your entry at any time before the close of the contest to correct errors in spelling, grammar, and typos. However, you cannot change any question or answer.
    3. There is no word limit, but, both, the question and the answer, should be concise and not too lengthy. You may give one relevant internal link if you wish (not mandatory).

The Rewards: The best interview entry will get a cash prize of Rs.75/- (one prize). One second prize of Rs. 60/- may be given. Other entries may get enhanced points and cash credits as well.

Closing date to submit entries: 12th July 2024 (there will be no extension in the closing date).

Just now, I have seen this post. I find this interesting. Can I use the name of a real person whom I am supposed to interview?

    Partha,

Read the last sentence of the text under the heading of 'what you have to do'. I think it is pretty clear and requires no clarification.
