Are you aware of the two astronauts confined in the International Space Station?

Indian origin American astronaut Sunita Williams, along with her colleague Barry "Butch" Wilmore, were sent on a mission to International Space Station (ISS). They had done this journey in Starliner rocket developed by Boeing in collaboration with NASA's Commercial Crew Program. The Starliner is a space vehicle that can go to International Space Station and come back to Earth. Now due to some technical hitch the Starliner cannot return immediately until it is repaired. Another option is to send other spacecraft to bring back these people who were scheduled to stay there only for a short time but are now forced to stay extra.
Space travel is full of hazards and challenges. Presently NASA and Boeing are working to arrive at a solution for this challenge. Are you aware of this news about these two astronauts confined in the International Space Station?

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore's space programme was initially for a few days. However, their return flight from Boeing Starliner is likely to be delayed for months. NASA has stated that in the latest development, the two astronauts' return will be further delayed because a defunct Russian satellite broke into more than a hundred pieces near the space station where the two astronauts presently are.

Earlier, they were forced to take shelter in the Space Station due to a helium leak in their spacecraft.

Earlier this type of transportation was done by the Elon Musk's company SpaceX as per the requirement of NASA. Now in addition to SpaceX, NASA has also hired another company that is 'Boeing' for this purpose.
This particular spacecraft in which these two people went to International Space Station is from Boeing. As there is a technical problem in the Starlink module so the return journey of these astronauts is now delayed.

US astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore are in space for more than half of a month, even though the plan of stay was only for 7 days. In the International Space Station, these two are working to solve the problem with the starliners. The return date is not fixed so far. Five thrusters out of a total of 27 were initially given the problem. Already 4 were repaired and they are working on the 5th one. Even if it is not working also it will not pose any problem for their return as per the statement given by an official concerned on this issue. Helium leaks are also arrested and they are not posing any problem for their return. Already the spacecraft is cleared to undock and return to Earth if there's an emergency or need for a quick departure. Two spacewalks are scheduled and their return will be only after these two are completed.
SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft is attached to the International Space Station on the opposite side. If necessary and if there is an emergency these two can comeback using that spacecraft.

Spacecrafts have regularly gone to International Space Station taking the Astronauts there for carrying out scientific investigations in space. NASA is managing this project since placement of this station in space. This station is orbiting around Earth in a low orbit about 400 km above the surface of Earth.
During this mission undertaken by Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore everything came in the news because of some mateoritic impact fear to the Space Station and these astronauts were asked to remain away in a separate capsule and once the threat was over they docked back with the station and are now in the station.
Let us see what NASA does to bring these people back to Earth.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.
