How many forum posts you can float/respond in a month comfortably?

As we all know forum section is the gateway to ISC portal. It is full of activities and many members are contributing in it. There are some members who are not contributing in forum section much but they are contributing in other equally important sections like knowledge centre, article section, information update, etc.
We all are part time contributing in ISC to satisfy our creative urges and discuss various matters in forum section. I have a query to the members contributing in forum section. The query is - how many forum posts you can float/respond in a month comfortably? There could be variation from month to month but what I am talking of is an average figure. Can you share it?

Answering a thread requires some understanding of the subject of the thread. Sometimes we may have to go through some literature also to understand the subject well and our answer should be relevant to the thread. So it requires a lot of time. If the subject of the thread is a known subject we may be able to answer the same fast.
Creating a new thread is also equally time consuming. Sometimes because of our other commitments we may not be able to give time. But when we have time we may not have many threads to answer. So there are many ifs and buts to spell out quantitatively. I feel. As far as I am concerned, posting more than a thread per day is very difficult but we can manage One a day. I may be able to answer a maximum of 5 to 6 threads a day, I feel. There were days where I answered upto 10 threads also. But I feel quality is more important than quantity.
What about the author?.He might have mentioned his averages in the text of this thread also.

Earlier I used to raise two Forum posts almost everyday. Nowadays I have reduced writing in ISC, but even then, around 60 percent of my Forum posts are deleted due to 'poor quality'.

Earlier I used to get angry but nowadays I am least bothered. I have seen that the deleted theads become very popular in other platforms.

Sometimes I try to write 'high quality, goody goody' threads to get some points.

I think it is a herculean task to raise a forum posting unless the author has the full idea of the topic to be discussed. Moreover, he has to see how relevant the raised topic could be in the present scenario. Now relating to answers to the Forum Post, this calls for a little bit of study to write down the responses more efficiently.
Answering responses is somewhat easier than creating a response since in the later part, the author needs a thorough understanding of the topic from some authentic source. Hence raising a thread in the Forum Section is a time-consuming task.

My target was to post 20-25 posts a month and respond about 2-3 posts daily. But on an average I am able to post 15-20 posts a month and respond 2-3 daily.
That makes a total of about 90-95 (posts + responses) which is very near to my envisaged target figure.
I am mostly thinking about the various matters of interest and as soon as I get an idea I jot down it in a line and later when I have to make a forum post I elaborate on that. If I do not note down it then I would forget it. Members can use this trick if they are interested to find out what interesting thing they were thinking some time ago and use it later as a seed to make a forum post.

This thread question is going to be irrelevant now, with a disappointing news announcementthread from Tony John. The announcement thread can bring some withdrawal reactions and so there will be a decrease in forum threads.
even those who post more threads with enthusiasm may put some brake to their activities. Let us hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Forum is the place where members share their views and opinions. I think posting twice a day is easily achievable and raising threads requires research that takes time. As mentioned by Venkiteswaran Sir now forum might not attract that much engagement because there will be no RSB from next month. It looks like ISC is facing some tough times and revenues are depleting at a very fast rate. Let's hope for the best in future and continue contributing on this lovely site.
    Thanks and regards.

Yes, realistically members may submit fewer threads in the light of today's announcement, but the topic of this thread is still relevant as to how many threads we can put up and respond to in a month. In my case, it has been negligible for a long time now and somehow I have not managed, frankly, to be active in the forum despite my assurances in many threads over the years!

    1. After the announcement of the Webmaster today, the contribution in Forum Section will come down further.

    2. It is also noted that we have not seen any Forum post from the Lead Editor of the Forum Section himself for a quite long time.

The announcement of making RSB zero is a big blow to forum section and it is obvious that members will have to focus in other sections and forum activity will go significantly down.

Even though there is no RSB, by conducting some interesting contests the section can be kept active and the amounts being offered for these contests can be continued as per the decision of the Webmaster. However, the final decision is in the hands of the think tank of ISC.

It all depends on the mood and if mood is good then it is easy to write 5 posts a day without any problems. Sometimes mood and time are both are good which makes for a good amount of posts. Writing is a mind game and if you are not feeling well then you won't be able to write quality content. Even starting new threads will be tough every day because you need good ideas that will attract a good amount of responses.

I am looking for a quantitative answer from the author for his questions in the thread. Many members expressed their abilities. I think the author has not gone through my earlier reply to this thread.
