If there is a God somewhere then why there is so much inequality in this world?

We all know what kind of world we are living in and how rich people are becoming super rich and poor are getting poorer. What's the reason for this inequality? People say God is everywhere and he will take care of everything but there is absolutely no change at all. Things are getting our of hand and even newborn kids are born with abnormalities. If it is karma then why children have to bear all the hardships? Where is God? If God is truly present somewhere then why there is much sufferings all around?

Our living on this earth will be based on our actions only. We all believe in Destiny. God will decide our destiny based on our actions and lifestyle in our previous births. This is what many people in the Hindu religion believe. What other religions say, I am not aware. In a house, if there are two sons both of them also may not be equally rich or equally poor. Luck favours some and may not favour some.
In my opinion, it is a cycle. Today's poor families may become rich after 3 or 4 generations and rich families may become poor. I will give you an example. My grandfather was a rich man. He had 10 acres of land and a government job., But his lavish expenditure, made him sell the land and because of some decease, he died in his late 40s. By the time he died, his family of three sons and wife were on the road. My father being the elder son discontinued his studies joined a small job and took care of the family. He managed the family and now all his children are well off. My grandfather enjoyed his life. My father struggled a lot in his life. We, his children, struggled in our early life but later on, we are all settled well.
We can't say that there is no God because there are inequalities in this society. Some people may think my views are illogical. I can't help.

God is a concept by believing in which one finds calm and peace of mind and can be happy to think that whatever is happening in this world is happening due to God's will. So whatever bad or good we are seeing is as per his plan and that is all. There is no scope of asking why things are like that.
Those who do not believe in God should try to change the things.

    Knowledge is power.

    Dr. Rao,

What you have mentioned is the Karma for adults, who are capable of shaping their lives with hard work. Everyone knows that people who are hard-working usually overcome their obstacles with time and those who easily give-up are the one facing hardships.

My point is the children who are born with abnormalities. What's their fault? People say, it's due to their sins of past life. We don't have any proof of past life, then why people give such reasons? If a child is suffering in this life, then the reason should be the present not any past karma.

Humble yourself or life will do it for you!

    Ajay Gupta,
Here also we can't blame God. As per Hindu mythology, the effect of sins we commit should come in this life itself and some cases, it will carry forward to the next life. Karma is not only for adults it is for children also. Karma what they did in their previous birth might have resulted in this birth. There is no proof for the existence of God also. It is the faith and belief. The same is the case with Karma Siddantha also.

It is not correct to say that the existence of God by seeing the inequality among us. The character of a person living with us itself changing by time to time and we cannot say that the reason for that is either we or that person.
Rich people can spend lavishly but by seeing him poor cannot do so and cannot even think that he is not having such capacity because of God.

Nobody knows where God is and people usually remember God during crisis. When we are facing any adversity we tend to lose our faith in God. In situations when everything is fine in our life we say God is nothing. People who have faith in God during good and bad days have a level head and they know everything is part and parcel of life. There will be good days and there will be bad days. God has nothing to do with our lives, he/she has created this world and everything is running on its own.
    Thanks and regards.

Our holy scriptures speak about Karma which means the actions which are good or bad. Our good deeds bring reward and bad deeds brings difficulties. If we have performed bad deeds in our previous lifetime we are bearing gifts today. Even rich people undergo difficulties and pain. God is someone who does not appear so easily. He is not seen so easily ad he wants to test us.

In that sense, I confess that men are extremely selfish in remembering God in the hours of their crisis. There are a few people exceptional in nature always trusting Almighty. They opine that the Almighty can never harm them since they have not done any harm to others. If we closely look at the lives of such people, we will sure be impressed with their style of living. They are the Pios men never blaming God or anyone despite their sufferings. Their concept is somewhat different from the rest of the masses.

There are many many things in our world internal and external on which we still do not have full knowledge. The discussion on them will be incomplete and incomprehensible with our present knowledge and communication. The understanding may not be possible with the present physical and empirical evidences. They may not be understood by our five senses. But still we cannot deny their existence nor ignore them because we feel their existence and behaviour by our own ways.

Discussion about GOD is one such and can lead to a lot of philosophical and extrapolations, comparisons, logical explanations etc. as of now.
As it is very cumbersome to explain and establish existence of GOD with present evidence mechanisms, many people find it easy to say no or keep it as doubtful, so that it helps us to avoid the great responsibility of convincing the questioning side.

In the present thread context, let us take God as a referee in a game like football or so. Referee does not interfere in selection of players, selection of play ground, does not have control on weather or even the viewing crowd. Referee only refers to the play at that time , based on the rule and rulebook for time being. The winning depends on the play they perform, which again may depend on their hard work and training and many other factors.

Let us take God as referee of our lives and gives warnings or points based on our current play. But he cannot be blamed for our bad play or our lack of hard work or any other pre-existing factors-which we can say are the residual fruits of our present and/or past . But in spite of all that if we play well now-i.e. live a pure life ( live a humane, value based life or a life performing Punyas as per our scriptures or guidance texts and avoiding paapa karma) then we will be winning points and credits from the referee God and get trophies which we can keep and by accumulating such god points can have good peaceful and happy life in this life itself and carry forward resultant any positive results to next Janma also.

It is easy to refuse to accept this for those who do not want to believe. But this is a simplest way I can explain the present thread question.

Thanks members for all your views and opinions. We are all bound by faith and most humans have a undeterred faith in God. No matter what happens in our life, we always make a sense of it by connecting it with the almighty.
