A humble request not to edit responses to make them meaningless

I generally don't contribute in 'Knowledge Centre' section. However, once in a blue moon, I try to write something on such topics about which I have a little bit idea.

I wrote something on the topic of validity of BAMS degree for higher studies abroad. Please see the following link:

Is BAMS valid to pursue higher studies abroad?

Jha Sir has submitted a brilliant response. I also submitted a short response. However, my short response has been edited by an editor in such a manner that it has become meaningless and almost ridiculous.

The edited response is: "The full form of BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery. Due to the reasons mentioned above, a BAMS degree-holder gets extremely limited opportunities to pursue higher studies abroad in this particular field.

Ayurvedic Medicine is practised mainly in India and partly in Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh in a limited way, and Bali in a different form."

In my original answer, the second para was written at the beginning. The editor has brought it at the end and has made the entire response meaningless. There is no continuity in the edited reply.

As a very ordinary, non-descript member of this august site, I humbly request the concerned respected editor not to edit responses in such a manner to make them completely meaningless.

Finally, I like to clarify that this post is not at all related to cash credit. I have absolutely no question about the amount assigned to this response.

Partha, there is a point in your argument but I feel it happened due to jumbling of sentences while editing. I have no Edit access to this particular section and the point would be brought to the notice of the concerned team.

    Partha,

I edited that particular response. The response is very much meaningful. In the earlier response, BAMS is not explained, so your response starting with the full form of BAMS is good. Then comes the sentence about the limited opportunities to pursue higher studies, and finally the mention of which countries provide these limited opportunities. In fact, this makes for better continuity than the other way around and that is why it was changed.

Note that editors, including myself, have re-arranged text in articles, schools, and other sections, too, to create a better flow to the content that otherwise looks scattered which would make the reader go back and forth to connect the dots.

""The full form of BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery. Due to the reasons mentioned above, a BAMS degree-holder gets extremely limited opportunities to pursue higher studies abroad in this particular field."----------------------------How was this part "Due to the reasons mentioned above" meaningful?

Kindly delete my response in the Knowledge Centre. I would be grateful.

    Partha,
I did not understand your point at all. The sentence 'Due to the reasons mentioned above' refers to the earlier response, isn't it? So how is it not meaningful?

We do not delete valid content just on the say-so of a member.
