Teamwork is always required for the success of an organisation

All of us will have five fingers for our hands. Even for a small work, a minimum of two fingers are required. Even a powerful man can't lift a small glass of water with a single finger. No two fingers are similar. But they collectively work always as required. The message we get from this is that united we can be stronger and successful in our all deeds. Many times we hear that two brains are wiser than a single brain. Individually we may not be able to do certain things but when we work collectively we can complete those tasks.

On our work front, we have to work in teams and if all team members work in tandem they will be successful. If they work individually without a collective approach, the work may take more or sometimes it may be unsuccessful also. I like to know the views of all members on this issue.

In this reference I remember two sayings - Unity is strength & One and one make eleven.
Team is the most important thing in an organisation and with more cohesively the team works, more the productivity. Individuals can achieve good results but a good team can do miracles.

    Knowledge is power.

Teamwork is somewhat different from individual performance. In a group of 40 employees, there might be 10 employees working speedily to achieve the task but that alone will not work out if the other employees in the section do not contribute significantly towards the task - fulfilment. The organisation has deputed 40 employees keeping igiven completing the tack within a specified period. If the remaining people respond in a neutral manner, the target set by the management cannot be achieved within the time - frame.
Hence the leader of the team or the shift manager has to identify the potential of each employee according to their potential to complete the task. The manager need not be a super task performer but has to be familiar with the psychology of the group. A little bit of tactfulness can be helpful for the entire team to achieve the target.

Perfectly told. Every individual should keep in their mind that we are working for one organisation which feed all of us.
If we work like this no ego raise its head amidst us. In our house we are all under our parents, similar to that we are with Manager, supervisor etc.,

Companies and organisations in which team work is good and people work with good understanding, generally achieve their targets and make profits. In the teamwork, every member of the team has to contribute constructively. Every member has to work towards a common objective. It is imperative that a good team should have a good leader also who can direct the team in the proper direction.
Team spirit is the soul of a company.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

Team work is absolutely essential for success of any organization. I was watching an archery match yesterday where Indian team lost the bronze medal just because one member of the team succumbed under pressure. The male Indian Archer tried his best but it was all in vain because the other member performed poorly. The result was a bronze medal gone from the hand. The moral of the story is there should be coordination between team member and one weak link in the team can cause great damage.
    Thanks and regards.

That is true. A weak link in the team can make the entire team weak. Here the role of the team leader comes into the picture. The team leader should extend his/her support wherever necessary so that weak links also will become very strong. That is why the leader has to play a crucial role in the success of the team.
