Bangladesh in a dire state! How will it affect India?

The people in Bangladesh have gone mad and they are destroying public property. PM Sheikh Haseena has left the country fearing she will be killed by the mob. It looks like she will not return now and will seek help from India or some other friendly nation. Even Hindu temples in Bangladesh are targeted and rich people are running for their lives on the road. There was news that a famous film producer and his son had been killed by a mob. Certainly, a very precarious situation for people who want to live peacefully. The bordering states of Bangladesh are at risk and we can see a sudden influx of Bangladeshi refugees into our country.

Just like during the military coup in Myanmar, Bangladesh is in a dire state. Now we are surrounded by many such countries where economies are doomed.

How will India be affected by such neighbours?

I am one among those who had born the load of Refugee Stamps load for many years( for maintaining Bangladesh refugees since 1971) .
It was that uncontrolled influx of refugees that has created a hell lo of problems to India and which we still face and which was the beginning of changing demography in this country-starting from North East states.

So The Indian government and the Border forces have to be very vigilant and prevent unauthorised and uncontrolled flow of refugees. For one genuine refuge seeker there may be thousands of vested interested anti-India infiltrators. We have to take all measures very strictly and stringently implement to protect our country and people.

If any other country says something in this regard, ask them to take the refugees sand infiltrators and stop interfering in our security matters.
Bharat has to act as strong Bharat to remain as Bharat.

Due to the internal politics in Bangla Desh, the opposition party there has got a big advantage and the ruling regime is toppled.
This is not happening for the first time in the world. There are a number of such cases recorded in the history where opposition took advantage and removed the government in power.
India will be affected because many refugees and other people who were trying to enter India since quite long will grab this opportunity and will have a comfortable life here.
It is also very clear that some unwanted elements will also enter in our country.
India will also be affected as many opportunists who are desparately aspiring for power will learn it from Bangla Desh and will try to replicate it here.
This unfortunate event in Bangla Desh is a warning sign for us.

It is a critical situation that there has been the spread of violence in Bangladesh due to communal tension. If we analyse the situation prevailing there, it suggests something else not connected with a communal issue. Initially, it appeared a case of students' dissatisfaction over the reservation issue. They were against the existing policy allowing a reservation of some communities to an unprecedented level. There was no meeting to appease their sentiments and this fuelled their frustration.
Later it turned into a violent form due to the fierce speech of local leaders and the attack was targeted at the Hindu Community. This was a thoughtless approach but sadly no group with a sane thought came forward to contain the issue.
This suggests that civilisation has lost in Bangladesh and in the current situation, it appears that no Hindu is safe in that region. Rescuing the Hindu Community from this volatile situation appears to be an ambiguous case since providing shelter to them in our country might invite criticism from different corners of our country. Moreover, there are possibilities of infiltration of Bangladeshis to an unprecedented level. This needs to be sorted out with an amicable dialogue between the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties of our country.

Last month or so, I read somewhere that the Chief Minister of West Bengal invited people from Bangladesh to their state. Now many people are trying to enter India illegally due to the internal crisis in their country.
The former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stepped down and fled the country. Now, Nobel laureate from this country, Muhammad Yunus will head the country's interim government.
India is already facing a big problem with almost all neighbouring countries one way or another. Added to that the present situation is very alarming. As mentioned by other members, the government should take a tough stand border security forces should be vigilant and no one should be allowed illegally into our area. The government should talk to the new government there and see Indian Hindus who are settled there should not be harassed and they should be safe there. If that is not happening the government should think of a mechanism to safeguard our Indians there.

Today the countries are depending on each other for items being traded among them and the world market is open to products from anywhere. Import and exports are increasing day by day. Any break in that would affect many countries. Bangla Desh is a big exporter of textile merchandise and right now there is a disturbance and exports have nosedived. It is giving opportunity to other countries like India to sell their products in the global market. So any disturbance at any place is going to create ripples in the global business environment.

Bangladesh is a new Myanmar and people will flee this country because there is no other option left. India will be the prime location for refugees and it is possible that all the Indian states close to Bangladesh will get negatively affected. Already we know how these people have been grabbing lands of locals from many years. The language is same and nobody can find out who is a Indian bengali or a Bangladeshi Bengali. States like West Bengal, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam will be worst affected because there is not much difference between the facial features of Bangladeshis and Indian Bengalis. It is going to a tricky phase for these states and will surely increase the crime rates in these states.

That is the irony. Those people come to India and survive. But Indians in that country are getting killed by the local people there. When we hear such news we feel very bad. Why we should allow those people into our country? All Indians in general and all Hindus there in particular are suffering a lot. We have to see what will be the reaction of the new interim government there on this issue. not giving any statement about the

Whatever is happening in Bangladesh is not favourable for India. The Hindus in that region are emotionally disturbed due to the brutal killing of the Hindus and the prevailing situation prompts them to leave the country at any cost to save their lives.
They have failed so far to cross the border due to the strict vigilance of the security people deputed in the area. They manage the people making them understand their responsibility but the question is how long they can take Bangladeshi People into confidence? If there is continued arson, looting and lynching, they might enter India through the illegal routes of Bihar and West Benga and these vulnerable spots cannot be plugged altogether.
Let us hope for the best with the mutual talk of governing people between the countries.

As Bangladesh is a close neighboring country sharing border with India, any unrest or internal happening will affect India. It is all the more when the majority of the people there are radicalized religious fanatics. The situation is more worse and serious because the real directors behind the opera going on there are actually Anti-Indian interests. Pakistan has already has an ire against India of supporting birth of Bangladesh.

The situation in Bangladesh will be a real headache and stomach ache ache for India. Not just external, but the internal migrant anti-India elements and the ruling political party's negative attitude also cause much concern.

There will be many to fish in troubled waters. This is the time India needs to show its Political governance muscle and military muscle before being pushed to the wall. We as ordinary citizen should stop talking against our Central Government and should voice support to the Central Government and especially to PM Modi.

If elections are timely held in Bangla Desh then there will be a good fight between the two main parties as each of them is having good following. If the result is in favour of earlier PM - Haseena then she might go back to Bangla Desh but the other party can create stir on one or other pretext. Army has already shown it's reluctance to control a large number of people creating problems so there is no guarantee that peace would return to the country.
The situation is alarming and in many Islamic countries such coup are very common and those people who manage that coup very well know how to get things done under violence.
India being the neighbouring country will be affected and will have to play its role diplomatically and patiently avoiding conflicts but keeping the borders tight.
We should not forget that there are many people in I dia who have the same ideological thinking as the opposition in Bangla Desh and they would be interested in repeating same story in India with the help of external agencies who are not happy with the progress and development of India especially in the post 2014 scenario.

The situation in Bangladesh, I feel, is not just about the change of guard or the targeting of Hindus but a lot more than that. We need to keep in mind the situation in our other neighboring countries while discussing this point. It is not just about the issue of immigration or targeted killing of Hindus that should attract our attention.

Let alone the claim by the excelled PM, Smt Sheikh Hasina, about the possible involvement of the US in the disturbance, we need to think why? Disturbance in a neighboring country with which we were maintaining a friendly relation and planned attacks against Hindus and Temples have to be looked into with due seriousness. Try connecting the possible immigration issues to the anti-Hindu sentiments there and the pro-Hindu sentiments here. It is not easy. We cannot overlook attempts to create religious provocation. We should also consider the involvement of the ISI, Pakistan and also the role of the self-proclaimed Big brother, the USA.

We should not take things lightly; the political and social ramifications are much more than we are imagining. So, let us be serious and think above religious limitations. Let us keep in mind that now, we are surrounded by nations that does not support us.
