    An August thread and my first day in ISC

    I just saw a thread raised by KVRR in Mar 2023. Members posted responses till August 2023 and the latest is now in August 2024 and so it appears to be connected.

    Immediately I remembered that my joining date in ISC is 2nd August 2012. Though I had many breaks then and there, I have always remained connected with ISC and ISCians. But now, mostly due to my constraints in typing on mobile, I have started the habit of reading and so I always keep myself up to date in ISC forum by going through the posts and responses though I may not be reacting to many.

    Typing in mobile screen is a cumbersome process as compared to typing in a laptop or desktop computer. To mitigate that problem I tried some of the 'speak to write' app or the Google mike given on the top of some keyboards.
    Initially I had some problems of pronunciation and errors were there in the write up which we had to correct manually but now with some practice the number of errors are reduced significantly.
    I think it is worth trying to use these facilities and avoid the cumbersome manual typing.
    Knowledge is power.

    Sarojah, the lady with a fascination for digits, has come up with yet another post relating a thread to her joining date in ISC.

    Hearty congratulations on completing 12 years with ISC! You have been an active and strong contributor to the site and though your absence (due to personal reasons as stated in the thread) is felt for the past few years, the way you come up with interesting threads in between is something noteworthy and applaudable.     Sarojah, nice to know that you have crossed the milestone of a dozen years as member of ISC.

    I have been reading your forum posts and other contributions since your joining here. Most of your forum thread posts are straight from your heart. That is why they get reception and resonance from other members.
    Whether it is on English language doubts, mathematical puzzles or sheer poetry, there was fact, information and straightforwardness.

    I would like to remind you and our members about this thread which is a poem adulating ISC, and where also I had said the same opinion in my response.

    ( I faintly recall that you have changed the spelling of your User ID midway adding an 'h'; am I right ?)"

    Thank you @Venkiteswaran for your nice words and recalling my thread where I have shared about ISC from my POV. And yes added one h in my spelling when I get bored and just to say ah and nothing specific.

    Thank you @Vandana for your nice words. I have changed my forum footer recently only when every one talked about numbers connected to me.

    I also feel inconvenienced in typing on a mobile screen. I prefer a laptop or a desktop. Congratulations to you for completing 12 years on this site and entering the 13th year. Your threads generally talk about numbers and mathematics. That way your threads are unique.
    I feel this is also something about numbers only as you are talking about years and dates. I hope you will continue your voyage on this site for the coming many more years and come out with threads dealing with numbers etc. A good thread from you.
