78th Independence Day: Take a resolution and Stick to it

As we celebrate the 78th Independence Day, it is an apt moment to reflect on the journey of our nation and the role each of us plays in shaping its future. Our forefathers fought valiantly to secure our freedom, and today, it is our duty to honor their sacrifices by committing ourselves to the nation's progress. On this Independence Day, let us resolve to serve our country both individually and collectively, recognizing that true freedom is not just the absence of oppression but also the presence of opportunity, equality, justice for all and appeasement to none.

I feel that serving the nation is not confined to grand gestures or monumental acts. It begins with small, everyday actions. Whether it is promoting education, protecting the environment, or supporting local businesses, each contribution, however small it may be, strengthens the fabric of the country. It is our collective efforts that drive the nation forward, and it is through these efforts that we can address the challenges that lie ahead, be it poverty, inequality, appeasement or climate change.

Let us promise to serve our country with honesty and determination on this 78th Independence Day. Let this be a commitment we uphold, not just a resolve. By carrying out this decision, we, the citizens of this great country, not only respect the history of our ancestors but also open the door to a more promising future for the next generation.

Happy Independence Day to all the members of ISC. Many freedom fighters lost their lives in the fight for independence. They sacrificed their lives to make this country independent. We are today enjoying the fruits of their sacrifice and our freedom. We should not forget those people who are responsible for this independence. Let us pay our tributes to all those people and pledge that we will not indulge in anti-national activities and try to do our bit for the country's progress. Jai Hind.

A Very Happy Independence Day to all! Many freedom fighters have sacrificed their lives during the freedom struggle and because of those Bravehearts, we are enjoying this freedom. My salute to all of those Bravehearts and let's take a pledge that we will not allow their sacrifices to go in vain. It's important to realize our responsibilities when we talk of freedom. Let me give an example to make things clear. We all stay in our homes and feel safe when we put the main gate under lock and key. Yes, as long as the keys are there with us by which we can open the gates we can move freely according to our will. But if the same key is there with another person unknown to us we will not be free even if we stay inside our room. Then our movements and actions will be decided by the unknown person only and we will become dependent. We need to be responsible enough so that the keys to our homes are not handed over to unknown persons thus making us incarcerated.

On this Independence Day, let's become more aware of our responsibilities towards fellow beings and society. Jai Hind!

Happy independence day to all the members of ISC and supporting persons.
Serving our country wherever we are and whatever role we have is the main point and our existence is only there when our country is safe.
We may have differences of all kinds but when it comes to the country we all are one. Independence is a great gift and those who are not independent know its value. Even the people settled abroad know and realise these things and are always welcome back if they find the alien lands not suiting them.
It is unfortunate that there are some evil elements who value money more than their country and we should be alert from such people and co-operate with the authorities in getting them booked and get punished.

We celebrated the independence day in our society with much interest and excitement. The children and some adults presented songs and talks related to the country and its importance. We had some games also and prizes were distributed by the society management committee.
It is true that a citizen can contribute a lot for the development and well being of the society and it is not only the duty of Govt to provide and guide for each and every thing.
Let us all work together for the progress and prosperity.

On the auspicious day of Independence, there was a great gathering of people of different ages. The function started with songs like Bande Mataram, Sujalam Suphalam, Sasya Shamalam and Jana Gana Mana Adhinatak Jaya He.
The kids were more active with their participation in different types of quizzes related to freedom - participants. We recalled the First Independence Day ie 15 th August 1947 celebrated at Lahori Gate Delhi. The senior citizens highlighted the sacrifices of different fighters such as Sahid Bhagat Singh, Khudi Ram Bose, Subhas Chandra Bose and others.
Folk ladies sang different freedom-related songs including Is Desh Rakhana Baccho samhal ke with a pleasant tone.
Overall, it was a grand celebration.
