Use this word in sentences with practical situations you experienced

The word is 'Insouciant'. Today only I first came across this word. The noun is Insouciance. The most simple meaning can be carefree. But with its other synonyms it can be an expression to denote some more also.

I leave it to those who will be more interested and eager to take up a kind of passionate exercise to search more about this word.

I read this in a news report narrating a particular live practical contest which many of us had experienced. I felt there may be many such contexts in our daily life where we can express what we felt, seen, experienced apt and suitable to use 'insouciant' to express the same.

It is a new word for me and after seeing this thread, I have gone through some information that is available on the internet. The dictionary meaning of this word is lack of concern. This word was drawn from French into English. One of my friends is an insouciant. He is insouciant of time and always attends meetings late. His attitude made slow progress in his career. In some places, this word is used as free from concern, worry and anxiety.
The synonyms of this word are airy, breezy, buoyant, carefree, careless, unconcerned etc. The antonyms to this word are anxious, nervous and high-strung.
Souciant is a French word which means 'to worry' By adding in as a prefix to this word it has become Insouciant and gives the opposite meaning to Souciant.

The word, "insouciant" is derived from the French vocabulary with the prefix, "in" and "soucier" which means concerned or feel of anxiety or disturbed. Insouciance denotes a lack of concern, or it may refer relaxed and calm feeling or not be serious enough."

I framed sentences using the word insouciance.
I love my grandkid's childish insouciance while playing with her.
Most old-generation men are insouciant in cleaning or helping with household chores.

A few synonyms are indifference, disregard, lighthearted, unconcerned, casual, etc.

This is a new word for me. The meaning is understood to be carefree or lack of concern. Some people have indifferent attitude for various activities or actions. They have no concern for anything except something necessary for their survival. Probably we can use this word while characterising such persons. Let me also try to use it.
Citizens should not be insouciant of their duties to the society and nation.

    Knowledge is power.

I read the word in a WhatsApp post wherein the author was describing the service of a bank. He described the staff as insouciant As it was the first time I was coming across the word, immediately searched to find the meaning and usage. I thought of sharing it her to prompt others who were not familiar with the word.

The author is pained to find out the exact meaning of insouciant. Though it might be a source of tension-free life for some employees providing a little succour in their way of working the ultimate impact for an organisation might not go in favour of an employee.
The best way for an employee could be to highlight some concern for the task assigned to him so that he is not labelled as an insouciant employee.
