    Lead generation for independent tutors

    Hello Everyone.

    My name is Sri and I teach English to students and professionals alike. I came across ISC.com a while back and as per my understanding , they provide access to students who are interested to getting coaching services or looking to take up coaching for tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

    I would like to know if ISC is the right place for independent tutors such as myself to access / buy leads, and if anyone else here has had success using this site before for lead generation.

ISC is basically an educational site and your presence will really help our members and other visitors to know more about the field of your expertise, that is English language.

    Welcome Murty Garu,
    ISC is a site which helps students and guides students by giving information about various, courses, schools, admission procedures, scholarships etc. At the same time, it will also provide some information about the jobs published in various reliable sources so that the visitors will get the information. But there is no provision here to provide coaching or enhancing business. But definitely, this site is very useful to students as well as members to learn.
    As suggested by Saji Ganesh, the Lead Editor, you go through the link he provided so that you will understand more about the site and its various sections and you can contribute as per your choice. I wish you a long and useful journey on this site. All the best to you.

    Dr. Srinivasa. I will start being a part of the community. With respect to my original question,. I do see this: a page that says "Buy education leads from authentic sources in India," which I believe is for generating leads for one's business, right? That's the reason I brought it up.

    Also, Mr. Ganesh, I understand ISC does not provide any coaching services through the website,, however, with respect to getting access to the student database, I can pre-pay the amount and then access the leads, isn't it? Or do I need to be an approved educational agency of some sort? this is what I am trying to understand.

    Welcome Murthy to this educational portal. Here there is no students database. Any member can learn and earn here. There is no specific target of students to take coaching. Anybody visiting can gain knowledge and members may contribute/guide here. As per your original question you referring to different site called Isc.com I believe.

    Srinandan, the screen shot (deleting the same as it is no longer required) that you have provided is not related to this site. We never ask for any registration fees or for that matter any fees to be a contributor to this site. We pay as we can or just try to hold on to our committed members. And we don't sell leads.

    Thanks @Saji. After seeing his screenshot for a while I felt guilty as I can say I am thorough about this site though my contribution is lesser these days. At the same time that gave us an alert that somebody is mingling this site with their pages and earlier too I have seen some copying articles from this site in different site.

    @ Ganesh, Oh, so is this being tampered with by someone else? I clicked the link, and it took me to the forum. It is hard to come to terms with the fact that this is not the same site .

    @ Sarojah, No, don't feel so, because it is camouflaged very well. I was almost like, What are the people here talking about? I checked and rechecked multiple times, haha.

    Regarding Lead generation- We've confirmed this from the Webmasters. Rest assured, there is no tampering or hacking by external sources. There was a feature for Leads, but this is no longer offered.
