    Is forum and ask experts section not so happening lately?

    Hello ISC family,

    This is for the admin, editorial staff and members, whoever can guide me through my worry at this point.

    I have just done a homecoming to ISC again. And I see a lot seems changed here.

    I maybe underlooking or overlooking, but when checked forum section, I felt like there is less engagement. I checked Ask Experts section, and the new submissions over there are minimal or zero. I may have done mistake in checking - no idea.

    But I am really worried. How much has ISC changed, how do I proceed now?

    Can any expert dicuss it here or in dm? I have been a user here from as early as 2016 or even before, I really don't want to see less engagement happening in forum and any section in this site. Am I mistaking something?

    Concerned users, please engage and let's do better than did before.

    Welcome back to the ISC family. Ask experts section is discontinued and forum has less engagement because Revenue Share Bonus is stopped. ISC has seen a big drop in its revenue because of some Google algorithm. As a result everyone connected to ISC is affected.

    A new section called Knowledge Center is currently running, which is the best place where you can earn some cash. You can still earn through articles and other information updates. Forum was a good place when RSB was running but now it is just like social media with no earning. If you become lucky you will get some thread of the fortnight or some cash for good response.
    Humble yourself or life will do it for you!

    Welcome back. As mentioned by Ajay, the income to this site is reduced due to Google changing policies and competition. RSB is withdrawn from August 2024. We saw a big drop in activity on this site from that time.
    The Ask Experts section is closed officially and a new section named Knowledge Centre is started. Initially, this section was very active. But now we see a drop in activity there also. KC section is dealing more with education-related topics. Restarting the Ask Expert section or allowing all types of questions in KC like Quora may be useful for improving the traffic I feel. Even though RSB is not there, conducting some contests and giving some CC to some good threads etc may improve the traffic to that section also. Anyhow, a collective approach with maximum effort is the need of the hour. But I don't know what is there in the minds of the top people on the site.

    You are most welcome in the ISC family. However, you may find a lot of changes in the present phase in the wake of the discontinuation of your favourite section Ask Expert Section which was earlier in the dominant stage. Instead of that, you might notice the Knowledge Centre covering multiple issues which might attract you to write down your responses.
    The forum section has lost its glory as witnessed by you in the past. The traffic on this site is not visible to that level.
    We all wait for the sunny days when we can retrieve its past status.

    As informed by you, the discontinuation of the Revenue Share Bonus may have been one of the many reasons. While is it true that change is the law of the universe, no philosophy can deny the fact that it is still a little hard to see the forum's vibe change.
    And all this when we had such an excellent editorial team to keep everything in the discipline. I hope to see the forum being alive and rejuvenated in the coming time. While article resources were of great help, forum engagement with people of all ages and experience, was the heartbeat and soul of ISC.
    I believe that no fellow member should stop engaging here just because RSB has gone away. The forum had been more like an organised family discussion where elders and juniors could come together and talk on different topics. Hope it gets revived like it deserves to be.

    #781824 Hello Shankar ji, I hope the administration staff of ISC will arrange something shortly to boost the SEO performance of this site. If ISC wants us all to adhere to SEO practices and do a crash course in the same, I mean, why not? If discussions on current affairs and news pieces can help, we can do that too.

    As suggested by you, I noticed the Knowledge Centre earlier but because I was using ISC on the phone at that time, I could not understand what was going on in that section. I will look and try to understand it now. Thanks for responding.

    Thank you Sri Ank Arya for your optimistic note. The situation will change in the upcoming time with the active efforts of the members. Hope, you will come forward with some workable solution for the mutual benefit of both the members and the ISC administration.
