Every person in this society is a teacher to other persons

All human beings learn by observing others in society. As a Kid, one will start learning by seeing his/ her parents. Then starts learning from teachers in the schools and other institutions. But our learning will not stop there. We will be coming across many individuals in our day-to-day life. We learn something or other from these people also. We learn how to behave from some people and we learn how we should not behave from some other people. Some will tell us what is correct and some will tell us what is wrong. Every day we learn something from some other person. So if we have intentions to learn, we learn from everybody and they all will be our teachers,

I might have learned many things from all the members and editors of this site and so I can consider all of them as my teachers. I feel all members will agree my thoughts on this issue.

Very right. No one knows everything. We all learn from each other. There are experts in their own areas and one can get doubts cleared about the things falling under that particular area.
We can learn certain things even from a small worker that a qualified person will sometimes not able to tell.
There is a teacher hidden in everyone and we have to address that to learn what one has in store for others.

    Knowledge is power.

Yes, there is a scope for learning every day from different people. What is needed is that we must have an open heart to learn the different items regardless of the age of the teachers. We need to incline to learn. My neighbour is an 80-year-old man who listens the poems recited by his 7-year grand son very attentively and enjoys the same often asking the exact message of the poem composed in English.
One day, I asked him what pleasure he is getting by listening to such poems., He laughed wholeheartedly at first and answered that learning a new entity provides him great solace always keeping him joyful.

Yes, we can learn from everyone if we are keen to learn. We can think of the whole world as our teacher. A very polite person can teach others to behave politely and a rude person can help others learn not to behave rudely. Learning and realization go hand in hand. The more we realize, the better we can grasp things. As learning is a continuous process, let's make the experience of our learning wonderful by acknowledging that everyone has great potential and can help others learn new things.

I am very happy that all the other three members agree with my views. One should have interest in addition to intentions to learn, then we can learn something from other person. My granddaughter taught me how to colour a picture. She made me sit with her and show how she does and asked me to do it in the same way. Whenever she comes from Bangalore I have to spend some time with her in doing painting.

Really. As this is correct, many of us learning something new from some people daily somehow or other. One great saint told I learnt from a small child to live without caring anything. I learnt discipline from ants as they are strictly adhere the queue system. I learnt from spider for perseverance

We can indeed learn valuable lessons from all the creatures in this universe, not just from society. When we approach learning with an open mind and ask for guidance from the universe, nature, and people, they often provide us with the help we seek. However, our intentions play a crucial role in this process. If we believe that we already know everything, even our actions and experiences cannot teach us anything new. People need to remain open to learning because there is an abundance of knowledge and experiences that are not universally known. Therefore, there are times when we should humble ourselves, learn from others, and show respect for the contributions of others, as their work and values may offer us new insights and knowledge.

Yes. One should have the intention to learn. That is why I mentioned in my write-up, "So if we have intentions to learn, we learn from everybody and they all will be our teachers," it is good to say that we learn from nature and creatures also. That is an extension of my thought process. Thanks to all the members who contributed.

There are many in our society and around us who are teachers by exemplary life they live. But who is bothered to learn?
For many and most, nowadays, the teachers they depend upon or follow are Google, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc. Now with Cha GPT etc. the reallife teachers may vanish away from existence and will be just museum pieces.
