    A Sweet 16!

    It is good that the forum is open while ISC's other sections are temporarily frozen. I can at least share with all of you, my wonderful virtual family, a special birthday!

    18th October 2008, 8.20 a.m. - My registration at ISC.
    18th October 2024, 7.35 p.m. - Celebrating my 16th birthday.

    On this momentous, happy occasion, I wish to thank everyone for their love and affection, respect, and helpful guidance in my adventurous travels. I have challenged myself to learn new things, gained a lot of self-confidence, and enjoyed many interesting moments.

    Cheers to celebrating 16 years at ISC!

    [Remembering with affection the alumni we lost. May their souls rest in peace.]

    Vandana, you are sweet at your sixteen in ISC.

    My greetings and best wishes on your achieving this real milestone. It is a recognized fat that you are also have a real part in taking ISC forward all these years .You were inspiration, and guide to many members in ISC ,as can be seen from their testimonials in the forum pages. In your sixteen year stint till now, I can boast as a co-traveller in ISC for about thirteen years. That is a privilege and something to cherish.
    Let us hope that we and most of the other members and veterans will be still travelling for many more years , along with ISC in its renewed avatar also. Hope the redonning comes soon.

    Congratulations Vandana, for completing 16 years on this platform. We are lucky enough that we can read this post even though all other sections are not there now. You might have enjoyed this day much better if ISC had been active like in earlier days. I wish by the time you are 17, this site will be at its peak and we all will wish for completing 17 years on that day.
    Yesterday I tried to open this site but always a notice was getting displayed saying that the site is not secure. But today just now only I tried and the site opened normally. I don't know what went wrong yesterday.

    Hearty congrats, ma'am, on completing 16 long years of association with ISC! You have always been a strong pillar that has stood by the site in different roles and have been an inspiration to many members including me. Thank you for being around with so many contributions as an author, as an efficient and judicious editor, as a friendly guide and motivator and all the more as a dependable support to the admin. ISC may change and come in a different form, but I am sure that we will get together again on a new platform to celebrate this unique virtual association. All the best!

    Greetings to you ma'am on completing sixteen eventful years here in ISC. Ever since I joined this site (interestingly, I too am going to reach a milestone next month, that of completing 10 years in this wonderful site), I found you as a beacon or a lighthouse guiding every member, new and old. It was because of your able guidance and mentorship that we were able to steady our footing here and learn many new things that we were not accustomed of in our pre-ISC life.

    Congratulations, Vandana, ma'am, on completing this milestone. I would say you are still a teenager at this site, while many others are still infants. Your spirited guidance helped ISC and its members grow and I believe you will have a greater role when ISC comes in its new form. Keep guiding us and I am sure together we can make this platform perform much better in terms of revenue and outreach.

    Dhruv- glad to know you will be completing a decade with ISC. Congratulations! Like us, there are quite a few members who have completed a decade or more and although some are no longer active here, we still remember them and hope they will return one day like the birds.

    Congratulations for your association with ISC for the last 16 years.

    The title reminds of an incident occurs to me, during my initial workspace, there was intercom installation for the first time in my office, I got number 16 and my head said this that you got sweet 16 and it has come automatically according to the priority seniority wise.
