    Let's celebrate the festival of lights together as we've been doing for the past so many years. The festival begins with Dhanteras today. Create pretty kolams, share close bonds, enjoy snacks and mithai and generally have fun.

    I extend my best wishes to all the members of ISC on the occasion of Diwali. Diwali is celebrated on Aswayuja Krishna paksha Amavyasa in our Telugu States. Tomorrow is Diwali for us. Today it is Naraka Chaturdasi. On this day Lord Krishna with his wife Satyabhama killed Narakasura and released many women who Naraka imprisoned. To mark this success of Good over bad, People started celebrating Diwali.
    It is a big festival in North India and many business people start their new accounting books from the day of Divali. Happy Diwali to all.

    I wish all members of ISC a very happy and prosperous Diwali. On the auspicious day of Diwali, Maryada Purushottam returned to Ayodhya with his brother and his wife. And the people of Ayodhya celebrated the day with light and crackers.

    In this post, till now, no one has mentioned firecrackers, which is an inseparable part of Diwali celebration. So, I am saying in unequivocal terms: Celebrate this Diwali and every Diwali with firecrackers and light.
