    Should we apply for new adsense account for ISC new website?

    Respected Webmaster/ Editor,

    For new ISC website, should we apply for new adsense account or can we earn through the same account like now? I am not generating any adsense revenue from this site from few months and I have 90$ in my adsense account right now. I want to withdraw my adsense money but I am unable to reach the threshold amount of 100$. Please clarify whether we can use the same adsense account for new site? If not I will permanently close my adsense account to get my last payment.

    We are awaiting an update from Tony sir regarding the AdSense accounts for the new website. You have already posted the same question in this thread which is quite logical but I request you to wait some more time and don't take a hasty decision to close the AdSense account as things will be clear once the new website is launched. All the updates regarding the new website will be posted in the updates thread.

    If we have to apply separately, again it will be a big task. Instead of that if they transfer all the AdSense accounts on this site to the new site, it will be easy for us. However, we have to wait and see.

    Sankalan is right. Please do not do anything in haste. What with the drastic dip in AdSense earnings and the difficulties many publishers have in getting an approved AdSense account, it would not be wise to close the account. $90 is a very good balance to have. Why forgo it by closing the account? Keep in mind that all of us associated our AdSense account with ISC with the admin. providing the easy method to do so, through the relevant page in our ISC account. When the new site launches, naturally there may not be earnings right away and the admin. will likely take the necessary steps to integrate AdSense or any other revenue-generating monetization programs. So let us just wait and see what opportunities we may perhaps get, if any, to earn through monetized content if/as and when it gets introduced on the new site. I don't personally know whether or not all this will happen and we would be able to earn through the same account, but I still advise you not to close the account. Let's hope for the best!

    Thanks for reply Vandana mam, according to adsense rules, if we close the account, we will get the remaining balance amount even if we don't reach the threshold amount of $100. Thats why I thought of closing account to get the payment. But, I have decided to wait until the launch of new website. I am also waiting for Tony sir reply in this matter.

    It is always better to wait till the issue becomes clear, I feel. As of now, there is no clarity. So let us wait. till some clear instructions come out from the site. This is what I feel is the best course of action, we can take.
