Congratulations to my Jain friends on the auspicious day

Today (10th April 2025) is a special day for all our Jain friends and families, as we celebrate the birth of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara and a true symbol of peace, compassion, and truth. His teachings of non-violence (Ahimsa) and kindness to all living beings are more relevant than ever in today's unhappy world.

Mahavir Jayanti isn't just about ritual: it is a gentle reminder to slow down, be kind, and live with purpose. Whether you are attending prayers, visiting temples, or just taking time to reflect; it is a beautiful day to reconnect with what actually matters.

To all those celebrating this very auspicious day, may this day bring inner peace, happiness and a sense of spiritual calm. May Lord Mahavir's wisdom guide our path and fill our life with love and clarity.

A very big congratulation and warm wish to the entire Jain community.

Stay kind. Stay peaceful. And have a truly meaningful Mahavir Jayanti !

My best wishes to all on the eve of Maharvir Jayanthi, the birthday of renowned Jain Tirthankara . This day also marks the 2623rd anniversary of Lord Mahavir's birth.

The Bahubali temple at Shravanabilagola in Karnataka always comes to my mind first when we speak of Mahavir Jayanthi and hope that my long cherished wish to visit this temple would be fulfilled this year. The basic concepts of Jainism which are peace, non-violence, sacrifice of worldly affairs, and simple living are similar to our Hindu culture.

    Regards,
    Jagdish

My best wishes to all on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanthi. There is a Jain temple in a village called Kolanpak near Hyderabad. The temple was recently renovated and many jains visit this temple regularly. It is about 75 Kms from Hyderabad. I visited that temple many times. They maintain the area elegant and clean. I have seen many jains coming to the place by walk from their place. They wear no foot wear and walk bearfooted only. They practice non- violence. The food they tale is also very soft without any Masala etc.
I have also visited the Bahubali temple at Shravanabilagola in Karnataka.
