Nearly everywhere in Hyderabad offers free food at various times.

Hyderabad is a multicultural city with residents from about every region living there. People wait in lengthy lines to get free food in practically every location in Hyderabad. It comes in breakfast, lunch, and dinner forms. Some people who donate food receive food that was wasted at weddings, hotels, and other events. How is it in your places share your thoughts on this!

There is saying that one should never take anything for free. If someone is offering something for free then there is a high chance of low quality stuff. Also, some people offer free stuff as a sign of gesture to poor people who can't afford it. Hence, if you can afford to pay then stay away from such free food and leave it for needy people who desperately need it.
Humble yourself or life will do it for you!

It is good that there are people who are offering free food to the needy. Near Secunderabad Railway station, in the afternoons, everyday food will be offered free to about 500 persons by a particular person. He has been doing this for years with the money he earns in his business. Now a days in temples also free food is being offered at different times. There is a Balaji temple near my house. In that temple on Pournami day, free food in the afternoon will be offered to about 100 persons. During some festival days, breakfast and dinner will also be offered free in this temple. Many poor people, daily wages people come and eat here. The best Dana we can do is Anna Dana.

I personally seen when I travel from New Delhi to Beas, in the stations like Jallandhar, Ambala, the sevadhars offering light food packets and waters in the coaches itself. Recently I read that:

In this train , passengers get free food from general to AC bogie. The name of this train is Sachkhand Express. Sachkhand Express (12715) train runs from Amritsar in Punjab to Nanded in Maharashtra. The train travels 2000 km. Sachkhand Express connects Shri Harmandir Sahv of Amritsar and Shri Hazur Saheb of Nanded. Guru Govind Singh, the 10th Guru of Sikhism, died in Nanded.
Spiritually speaking offering food and water to the needy is a great thing which is incomparable to anything in Human Life.
