A tailormade story towards his sons education

Once, there was a tailor who had a son. Coming from a poor and uneducated background, the tailor was determined that his son would not follow in his footsteps. He decided to enroll him in a prestigious school, so he took out an educational loan and used his earnings to secure a place for his son in an international institution.

This school was filled with affluent students, most of whom had parents who were doctors, lawyers, and other highly regarded professionals. The tailor's son quickly realized that he was different and felt inferior, which led him to shy away from forming friendships with his peers. unknowingly he dislikes his father and his proffession.

As time went on, the school announced a fancy dress competition, open to all students. The tailor's son expressed his desire to participate and asked his father for money to buy fabric. However, the tailor insisted on making the costume himself, believing it would help his son win the competition. Reluctantly, the boy agreed.

While other students purchased their costumes from various multinational clothing stores, the tailor dedicated himself to crafting a unique outfit for his son, working tirelessly day and night.

When the competition took place, the tailor's son won first prize. The school administration recognized the quality of the costume and approached the tailor, requesting that he create a logo for the school and design uniforms for other students, to which he readily agreed.

As time passed, the tailor's reputation grew, and schools throughout the city sought his services for their uniforms. This newfound success brought him considerable wealth, and he established partnerships with multinational companies.

However, despite his father's financial success, the tailor's son struggled academically. Upon discovering this, the tailor reprimanded his son for neglecting his studies, as his son replied back that education was not as simple as sewing clothes.

In a fit of anger, When the tailor became frustrated and sought to teach his son a lesson, he declared that he would pursue a doctorate. Subsequently, the tailor dedicated himself to studying tirelessly, often working late into the night, and successfully completed various examinations, ultimately earning a doctorate in fashion design.

Upon learning of his father's achievement, the tailor's son humbly fell at his father's feet, seeking forgiveness and promising to prioritize his studies. The tailor encouraged his son to focus on his education.

If there is a will, there is a way, is a popular saying. So the determination and goal oriented work will always give us success. This is what this story proves. A good story from the author. Education and degrees are not the ultimate to earn and become popular. One should be a master in his field of work. That will always bring success. I read in some newspapers long ago that a lady from Kerala wrote her 10th examinations in her 90s and obtained very good marks. The young people of these days should try to understand the efforts that are being put in by their elders in bringing them up and we should give due respect to them always.

Truly an inspirational story and middle class children should learn that every profession needs respect. A job that feeds your family is not inferior by any way.
Humble yourself or life will do it for you!

The tailor father lived as an example to his son that his son can do better if he tried well.
I myself saw in the village of Odisha, a pot maker made his son to study engineering. His son also finished his degree well and with his engineering knowledge, the son, made some easy arrangements so that the father could do his pot making work faster. He put a cycle nearby his pot making wheel and connected that with cycle to rotate while pedaling. His mother used to sit by his side and role the pedal with her hand with which makes the wheel role and through which they can make more and more in limited time period that too without much tired.
So, education of son helped his father well.
