Here is a fabulous Tamil movie

For over one year approximately, I had been partly out of India and got busy on something or the other. However, on a recent visit to Chennai, I was able to see the latest blockbuster movie called "Tourist Family". It is a fabulous movie that simply takes the viewers to something totally positive about human nature -- we all have a good side. It only happens that someone has it in abundance and when he transforms his immediate community, everything positive happens.

The movie even takes on a small twist when a North India police officer posted in Tamil Nadu tries to pin the blame for a bomb blast in distant Rameshwaram, on the family that migrated from Sri Lanka due to the economic nomic crisis, and then gets arrested for beating up a suspect in custody. The ultimate climax happens he comes across a Punjabi who snubs the police officer by asking"kathaippoma?", which in Sri Lankan Tamil simply means "can we talk?". The reality hits the audience-- true love and compassion knows no religion or caste of creed or region

The movie has also been in Malayalam and am told, in Hindi as well. It is on OTT platform as well. This is exactly how Tamil movies should be made. The movie totally shuns violence and all double meaning dialogues and stupid comedy as well. The comedy scenes are aplenty, but the comedy is part of the story and is so natural with a ten year old boy virtually stealing the show

A must see movie for all time to come.

Being a person who does not go for movies since years, I am mostly unaware of the new movie releases. But from the social media sites/news websites posts I come across certain things about movie world.

Just so, the other day I saw a news piece in a news column or social media mentioning about the movie "Tourist Family". That was saying something good about the movie. I just glanced over and left it at that thinking that may be a marketing trick.

But now from this post, I understand the movie is appealing and good. The statement "The movie totally shuns violence and all double meaning dialogues and stupid comedy as well. The comedy scenes are aplenty, but the comedy is part of the story and is so natural .." tempts me.

I have not heard about this movie. Probably it is not released in the Telugu states. Anyhow, this post from Sivakumar Garu gave me some understanding about this particular movie, and if any chance come,s I will definitely view this movie. A post from the author after a long time.
