There is no development in Amaravati again !

The capital city of Andhra Pradesh has no development activity with 1 year having passed. Chandra Babu, who became chief minister, promised he will build Amaravati this time, but 1 year passed, and there is no single development activity done only stipulated or confined to foundation stones, which they already did in their previous regime. As the opposition and ruling party always blame each other for the rainy season's effect on the capital city, the opposition party, who is always against the Amaravati capital for several reasons, having its own media house, always sprays venom on it, and the other media houses will write news according to their favorite parties' wishes. Some media channels will jump from one party to another on the basis of who is ruling, like NTV channel Narendra Chowdary.

After years of uncertainty, 2025 has brought clarity and renewed momentum to Amaravati's development as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. With infrastructure projects being revived and government offices expected to return, land prices are showing upward movement. In Short. There are signs of life in a city that, for all intents and purposes, was a ghost town for five years. Since Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's return to power in Amaravati's development has been revived, with fresh funding, renewed foreign interest, and new deadlines.

Nothing is there. They will construct two or three buildings and tell some stories and then say, "If you vote again, I will build entirely." I am from Guntur district; I went there recently. Nothing is there. This happened previously, and he is repeating the same.

In Secunderabad Road there are so many defense sectors and air forces (it is written "AP" and "TS" combined states in the nameplates.) after 12 years of separate states, a single central government office didn't move from there to here.

What is happening in Amaravati? Many reports are coming up saying that a lot of activity is going on and governments are trying to make it as early as possible.. Heavy rains may cause some delay in the progress, but they may not halt the progress forever. If the present government fails to do something for the capital, no one can do it, and I feel that definitely, in the coming 3 or 4 years, Amaravati will become one of the best cities in the country.

#783199 I hope for the same but the actions should be louder than the words where no central government office till date move to Amaravati.

I agree that actions should speak louder than words. However, in the initial phase, there will be more paperwork, and on the ground, we may not find any development. After that, I think the work will pick up. Let us wait and watch. But one thing is sure that the present AP government is much superior to the previous government.,

    Hi,
It is truly disappointing to see that there is still no meaningful development in Amaravati once again. The city was envisioned as a model capital with world-class infrastructure and opportunities, yet repeated delays and lack of progress have only hurt the hopes of residents and stakeholders. People invested their trust, resources, and future here, but promises remain unfulfilled. Amaravati deserves a clear vision, consistent action, and genuine commitment from leadership. Without that, the dream of development will continue to fade.
