Janaki, the Nightingale of South India, rejected the Padma Bhushan award!

Janaki, the Nightingale of South India, rejected the Padma Bhushan award, the third-highest civilian award. Everyone should draw inspiration from this great lady; we all should be proud, and I am very proud of this because she came from where I was born, district Guntur. So the government of India decided to give these awards to whoever they need.

What do you mean by night angle? Either it should be nightingale or night angel. There is nothing like night angle in English.
Humble yourself or life will do it for you!

Why should one be proud of a lady who rejected an award awarded by the Government? No doubt Janaki is a good singer. We should be proud that she is from AP. But we should not feel proud as she rejected an award.
The central government is giving these awards based on the recommendations given by the State governments. If we want to criticise, we can criticise all the actions of all the governments. There is no point in dwelling always on unnecessary points to blame the governments, I feel.

The post highlights a situation where a highly respected South Indian singer, often referred to with admiration as the "Nightingale," chose to decline the prestigious Padma Bhushan award. Such a decision usually reflects the individual's personal principles, humility, or belief that awards should be given based on merit rather than seniority or public expectation. It is admirable when artists value their work and dedication above external recognition, and many people find inspiration in such integrity. The writer also expresses pride because the singer comes from their own region, which adds an emotional connection to the news. At the same time, the comment below rightly points out the importance of using correct terms—"nightingale," not "night angle"—reminding us how small language errors can change the meaning of a sentence. Overall, the discussion reflects both admiration for a legendary artist's values and the importance of clear communication in public forums.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
