When there is a 'Sunset', there would be 'Sunrise" too!

The contribution of our beloved members to ISC is always commendable and everyone is eagerly waiting for the 'Sunrise' . I recall my own thread - If I were not there... where Sun wants to take rest and asks all the elements of the Universe who would take care of his job in his absence. One small candle comes forward with confidence.

Same is the case here. Though the ISC Sunset thread was announced, the Forum section is still in action and we are sure of the new ISC coming to exist very shortly. Meantime, let us continue our contribution in the Forum so that we regain our form to contribute well in future. Just I was rewinding my own contributions in the Forum section and some of the responses were quite amazing.

I am much confident of the new version of ISC would be realised soon!

During my childhood, my grandfather used to narrate a story to me. An old woman in the village was having a hen and a stove. She used to get up early and make tea to sell. In those days, farmers were getting up very early, and while going to the farm, they used to take tea in her shop, and they used to light their cigars with her stove. Oneday, this old lady thought that if her stove and hen were not there, nobody in that village would get up early. So oneday she climbed up a hill with her stove and hen so that nobody would hear the clucks of her hen and would not get up, and also thought that nobody could light their cigarettes in the absence of her stove. But she observed that everybody is attending their duty normally.
After reading your old thread, I remembered this story. We are eagerly waiting for the sun to rise.

How long should a person perform CPR to a patient who is not at all responding?

Everyone in their life has time for "sunset" and "sunrise". However, only those who success to rise who learnt the lessons from their mistakes. If we will have same attitude which brought us into "sunset", there is no "hope" no matter how many time one come back into "sunrise" after the sunset. We the older memebers know why and how we got this "sunset". I sincerely hope we will have serious sunrise in the new ISC with better and open mindset.

The decision-makers of this site, with active cooperation from many (if not all) pliant editors, bulldozed the contrarian views of well-meaning members, and made ISC a perfectly boring website. So, even if we wish otherwise, this sunset seems to be permanent.

It's been quite a while, but I still visit this wonderful website from time to time to read the posts and contributions from the members. Many of the old members seem to have disappeared now, but I truly believe that one day the sun will rise again, and this site will continue to grow and evolve.

After every dawn there is a sunrise, we should have the confidence and keep our hopes positive to illustrate that unity is strength. Together we can achieve great goals rather than as individuals. I too could not join for a couple of months from now as the regular routine job itself seems to be so hectic that investing time for improving our own capacities has become a most forgetful task.

The famous stories of Tenali Rama is also evident that good deeds, dedication and different ways to sort out the issues will surely reach towards the door step of success.

I wonder how many days too the existing charge/fees for keeping ISC in CPR is available. Wil there be any sudden pulling of the oxygen plug?
Whatever be if we are informed earlier, it will be nice. At least we can post a final farewell post. I do not want to use any other word for that.

Once the Sun is set, we will expect him to rise again, and it will happen as expected. But if a human being dies, I don't know whether he will be born again or not. If born also, he may not have the same identity and the same family background. As the Webmaster announced the break of ISC as a sunset, there is nothing wrong in again expecting a rise. But it is getting delayed and delayed, raising doubts.

    Hello all,
Remind yourself that after every pause, new beginnings will bloom. Then, with renewed passion, you will once again be able to share your talents with the world. The long wait will make that moment even sweeter
The reward of patience is sweet. ("Intazaar ka phal meetha hota hai." ).There is a saying. Right?
    All the best

Jagdish, went through your inspiring post 'If I were not there..'. It seems I had missed the thread then. Now that our ISC is facing its own sunset, I hope a new candle does takes shape, however small, which will one day have a sunrise and light our life once again.
    Patience and perseverance pays

The post beautifully conveys a message of hope, continuity, and resilience through the metaphor of sunset and sunrise. Just as the sun sets only to rise again with renewed brightness, the ISC community is encouraged to stay positive and active despite temporary challenges. The author appreciates the valuable contributions of members and reminds everyone that every ending is followed by a new beginning. The mention of the "Sunset thread" reflects a phase of uncertainty, yet the belief in a new and improved ISC highlights the community's strong spirit. The story of the small candle stepping forward symbolizes how even a small effort can make a meaningful difference. By encouraging members to continue participating, refining their skills, and staying engaged, the author emphasizes collective strength. The message inspires optimism and reassures readers that a brighter, stronger version of ISC will emerge soon, supported by the dedication of its contributors.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
